La recherche de la réaction agglutinante sporotrichosique nécessite l'emploi d'une technique un peu spéciale. Un champignon n'a pas, en effet, la simplicité morpho logique d'une bactérie. Le sporotrichum, en particulier, présente, aux différents stades de son évolution, et suivant la composi tion du milieu de culture, des aspects fort divers. Tantôt il se montre surtout constitué par des filaments mycéliens, plus ou moins allongés, fragmentés ou enchevètrés; tantôt, à ce mycé lium s'ajoutent des spores en grande abondance. Or, en étu diant l'action exercée, in vitro, par le sérum de notre malade sur les divers éléments du parasite, nous avons pu nous convaincre que cette action ne se manifeste pas sur tous également. Dans une émulsion renfermant à la fois du mycélium et des spores, et additionnée du sérum du malade, le microscope montre en effet que ni les fragments, ni les réseaux mycéliens ne sont influem ces.
