Jacob Weaver, son of Johann Weaver and Maria Margarethe Herr, was born in 1688 in either Germany or Switzerland. He emigrated and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married Anna Bauman, daughter of Wendel Bauman and Ann, in about 1723. They had nine children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Germany and Switzerland.
