Book Description
We perform an amplitude analysis of B{sup ±} 2!{var_phi}(1020)K*(892){sup ±} decay with a sample of about 384 million B{bar B} pairs recorded with the BABAR detector. Overall, twelve parameters are measured, including the fractions of longitudinal f{sub L} and parity-odd transverse f{sub {perpendicular}} amplitudes, branching fraction, strong phases, and six parameters sensitive to CP-violation. We use the dependence on the K[pi] invariant mass of the interference between the J{sup P} = 1− and 0 K[pi] components to resolve the discrete ambiguity in the determination of the strong and weak phases. Our measurements of f{sub L} = 0.49 ± 0.05 ± 0.03, f{sub {perpendicular}} = 0.21 {+-} 0.05 {+-} 0.02, and the strong phases point to the presence of a substantial helicity-plus amplitude from a presently unknown source.

Book Description
With a sample of about 227 million B{bar B} pairs recorded with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage ring the authors perform a full angular analysis of the decay B° --> [phi]K*°(892). They measure the branching fraction to be (9.2 ± 0.9 ± 0.5) x 10°6 and determine the fractions of longitudinal and parity-odd transverse contributions as f{sub L} = 0.52 ± 0.05 ± 0.02 and F{sub {perpendicular}} = 0.22 ± 0.05 ± 0.02, respectively. The phases of the parity-even and parity-odd transverse amplitudes relative to the longitudinal amplitude are found to be [phi]{sub {parallel}} = 2.34{sub -0.20}{sup +0.23} ± 0.05 rad and [phi]{sub {perpendicular}} = 2.47 ± 0.25 ± 0.05 rad, respectively. The authors measure five CP asymmetries which provide important limits on CP violation originating from new physics. They also observe the decay B° --> [phi]K*°(1430).

Book Description
We perform an amplitude analysis of the decays B° → [phi]K*2(1430)°, [phi]K*(892)°, and [phi](K[pi]){sub S-wave}° with a sample of about 384 million B{bar B} pairs recorded with the BABAR detector. The fractions of longitudinal polarization f{sub L} of the vector-tensor and vector-vector decay modes are measured to be 0.853{sub -0.069}{sup +0.061} ± 0.036 and 0.506 ± 0.040 ± 0.015, respectively. Overall, twelve parameters are measured for the vector-vector decay and seven parameters for the vector-tensor decay, including the branching fractions and parameters sensitive to CP-violation.

Book Description
We report an updated amplitude analysis of the charmless hadronic decays of neutral B mesons to K?−?°. With a sample of 454 million?(4S) → B{bar B} decays collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC, we measure the magnitudes and phases of the intermediate resonant and nonresonant amplitudes for B° and B° decays and determine the corresponding CP-averaged fit fractions and charge asymmetries.

Book Description
Using 385 fb−1 of ee− collisions, they study the amplitudes of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay D° → K−K+?°. They measure the strong phase difference between the {bar D}° and D° decays to K*(892)+K− to be -35.5{sup o} ± 1.9{sup o}(stat) ± 2.2{sup o}(syst), and their amplitude ratio to be 0.599 ± 0.013(stat) ± 0.011(syst). They observe contributions from the K? and K−K+ scalar and vector amplitudes, and analyze their angular moments. They find no evidence for charged?, nor for higher spin states. They also perform a partial wave analysis of the K−K+ system in a limited mass range.

Book Description
The authors present a measurement of the decay amplitudes in B[yields] J/[psi] K*(892) channels using 20.7 fb[sup -1] of data collected at the[Upsilon](4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at PEP-II. They measure a P-wave fraction R[perpendicular]= (16.0[+-] 3.2[+-] 1.4)% and a longitudinal polarization fraction (59.7[+-] 2.8[+-] 2.4)%. The measurement of a relative phase that is neither 0 nor[pi], [psi][parallel]= 2.50[+-] 0.20[+-] 0.08 radians, favors a departure from the factorization hypothesis. Although the decay B[yields] J/[psi] K[pi] proceeds mainly via K*(892), there is also evidence for K*[sub 2](1430) and K[pi] S-wave contributions.
