Book Description
The desire to write this book was at first born out of frustration of yet another failed relationship. In the midst of this frustration, I attempted to explain what I felt love really was, to someone who I thought at that moment to not have a clue. From this relationship, I began to explore my mind and remember how love first found me. From there, this book was born. In no way am I professing to be an authority on love or relationships. I have no degrees or licenses which can validate it. I am only sharing my most intimate experiencesallowing you to be there and hopefully feel what I felt and see through my eyes, my life as it existed in those moments. To say that I'm a hopeless romantic is a very accurate description of a huge part of me. I believe in the truth of love, because love is responsible for our very existence. If not for our father in heaven, non of us would exit. My hope is that, you will be inspired by my story and that you will avoid many of the situations I encountered by cherishing yourself and the essence of love. If you do this, then I will have accomplished my goal. May love live on in you.

Book Description
"The World needs Chad Prather more than ever. He's a throwback to a saner and more fun-loving America. His rants are OUR rants." — Charlie Kirk Chad Prather — “a modern-day Will Rogers” — is just your friendly neighborhood cowboy philosopher, gazing into the sweet tea leaves at the bottom of his cowboy hat, pondering a most fundamental question: “Am I crazy? Or is the world crazy…?” Chad finds life amusing, baffling, sometimes heartwarming, and downright interesting, and wants to share personal stories and witty observations on the hasty growth of insanity within the folds of society, and inspire critical thinking about the state of our modern culture. In this series of humorous essays — reminiscent of the rants he is famous for doing from his truck in Texas — Chad takes on all the problems he has with the modern age, and also talks about some of the problems that we have with each other. Problems with kids, problems with spouses, problems with our bosses at work, and of course problems with all those other jackwagons we work with. What are some of the basic things you need to know if you’re going to survive marriage and parenthood? Whatever happened to decency, hard work, and a sharing of the basic values that made us great in the first place? When did it become unfashionable to believe in God, to go to church on Sunday, or to send our “thoughts and prayers” toward those having a difficult time? When did it become child abuse to spank your kids, instead of child abuse to avoid it? Why do we have such visceral reactions to politics when — by and large — we know so little about how it actually works? When is social media going to finally stop messing around and just bring the full-on possession? And why is it that, as we march further and further along the road of progress — growing our collective knowledge and technological means of dealing with life along the way — we seem to be regressing socially at an equally break-neck pace? AM I CRAZY?: An Unapologetic Patriot Takes on the Insanity of Today’s Woke World explores human misbehavior and stupidity in all its naked splendor with laugh-out-loud humor. Book Description
Eleven-year-old Delphine has it together. Even though her mother, Cecile, abandoned her and her younger sisters, Vonetta and Fern, seven years ago. Even though her father and Big Ma will send them from Brooklyn to Oakland, California, to stay with Cecile for the summer. And even though Delphine will have to take care of her sisters, as usual, and learn the truth about the missing pieces of the past. When the girls arrive in Oakland in the summer of 1968, Cecile wants nothing to do with them. She makes them eat Chinese takeout dinners, forbids them to enter her kitchen, and never explains the strange visitors with Afros and black berets who knock on her door. Rather than spend time with them, Cecile sends Delphine, Vonetta, and Fern to a summer camp sponsored by a revolutionary group, the Black Panthers, where the girls get a radical new education. Set during one of the most tumultuous years in recent American history, one crazy summer is the heartbreaking, funny tale of three girls in search of the mother who abandoned them—an unforgettable story told by a distinguished author of books for children and teens, Rita Williams-Garcia.

Book Description
Robyn Catchlove wasn't destined for married life and two and half kids in the suburbs of Adelaide. So, in her early twenties, she walks away from a passionless marriage to seek out adventure and lead the life she always dreamed of. As a spunky 25-year-old, she meets her match, Les Coles, in balmy Cairns, and together they set about building the boat of their dreams. By the time the Jean King launches, Robyn and Les are fiercely in love and ready to take on the challenges of the professional fishing game. This is the start of a gripping eight-year sea journey set in the hallucinogenic tropics of Far North Queensland. It also takes Robyn deep into the heart of the exclusively male world of professional fishing. It is physical, tough, and often perilous, but Robyn won't give up until she has not just silenced, but completely won over, even her toughest critics. Along the way, Robyn develops a remarkable bond with the environment, experiences a deep relationship with indigenous Australians, and collects a swag of colourful and gutsy fishing mates. But when her one true ally unexpectedly turns on her, Robyn is going to need more resilience and courage than she ever needed - even in the toughest storm at sea. Robyn's is a quintessentially Australian story about passions: where they can take you, how to walk away from them if they threaten to destroy you, and what is left if you have the courage to do so. Somewhere Down a Crazy River is also the only factual book ever written about the wild rivers area of Far North Queensland - hers is a wonderfully vivid and exciting adventure, recounting a true story of the land, as well as the amazing people who inhabit it.
