"The NYS Firefighter-1 Bridge course from the previous 42 hour Basic Firefighter and 39 hour Essentials of Firefighting courses is designed to be a comprehensive course that completely prepares an entry-level firefighter to respond to emergencies by supplementing the students previously learned knowledge, skills, and abilities with the updated information and skills from the current Fireifghter-1 course materials.
