Book Description
Excerpt from A Vision of ArmageddonPicture to yourself a bright, sunny after noon, in the merry month of June. The birds flitting about among the shady maples and sturdy old pines; billing and cooing; poising on some slender twig to pour forth their songs of love, which echoing through the hills, and caught up by the murmuring brooks, float away down the banks of the Ottawa, and on to its flowing, eddying stream, in one grand theme, ever telling of Time and Eternity. In such a locality, a young woman, of not more than twenty years, had thrown herself carelessly upon the grass in the shadow of the tall pines, which studded a long-drawn lawn, that sloped from a large, well-built house, of ancient architecture, to the river below.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Book Description
Excerpt from Before Armageddon The writer desires first of all to bear personal testimony to the faithfulness of the Great Revealer of truth. Some four years of my life and ministry were spent in the British Isles. A part of this time was passed in Newport, Wales, where an extended series of Sunday night addresses were delivered on the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation. Up to this time the 17th of Revelation was an unsolved enigma. My traditional teaching on this subject, like all others I had read, was utterly unsatisfactory and easily overthrown. Knowing that the addresses would eventually reach this difficult chapter, and that the hearers, who were permitted to ask questions freely, could easily overthrow any teaching on the subject with which I was familiar, I appealed to the Lord definitely for light on this important prophecy. Day after day I went to my room and laying the Bible open at the 17th of Revelation, knelt and read the chapter to the Lord and asked earnestly for light. Again and again was the promise pleaded "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." Jas. 1:5. Not only in secret but at the family altar, the Lord was constantly petitioned to open up the mysteries of the prophecy. The matter became the principal theme of the household, among whom were some who were sharing the public labors. For three months persistent prayer was offered in private and with the family, sometimes amid tears, that God would open up these things to our understanding. One evening, with the prayer still unanswered, the writer started to walk for exercise to the historic village of Caerleon and return, before speaking at night. Book Description
The groundbreaking, bestselling series—millions of copies sold worldwide! A classic of ancient human history—and one of the inspirations behind the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens—Zecharia Sitchin’s Earth Chronicles series is the revelatory and deeply provocative masterwork that forever altered humankind’s view of our history and our destiny. The fantastic conclusion to the groundbreaking Earth Chronicles series brings together past and present to offer a radical vision of the future Thirty years ago, Zecharia Stichin challenged established notions of the origins of Earth and man. In a series of provocative books, he offered a radical new theory, based on indisputable documentary evidence, of extraterrestrial beings—the Anunnaki—who arrived eons ago to plant mankind’s genetic seed. In this triumphant final volume, he closes the circle, exploring the profound question that has troubled us throughout time—from the Bible’s Daniel to Sir Isaac Newton to modern Americans—When will the end come? In The End of Days, Sitchin solves ancient enigmas, dechipers the original meaning of religious symbols, analyzes scientific calculations, explores Messianic expectation, and bridges the links between history and prophecy—between the 21st century, A.D. and the 21st century B.C.—to present a startling vision of what is to come for us all.

A Dream Of Armageddon This book is a result of an effort made by us towards making a contribution to the preservation and repair of original classic literature. In an attempt to preserve, improve and recreate the original content, we have worked towards: 1. Type-setting & Reformatting: The complete work has been re-designed via professional layout, formatting and type-setting tools to re-create the same edition with rich typography, graphics, high quality images, and table elements, giving our readers the feel of holding a 'fresh and newly' reprinted and/or revised edition, as opposed to other scanned & printed (Optical Character Recognition - OCR) reproductions. 2. Correction of imperfections: As the work was re-created from the scratch, therefore, it was vetted to rectify certain conventional norms with regard to typographical mistakes, hyphenations, punctuations, blurred images, missing content/pages, and/or other related subject matters, upon our consideration. Every attempt was made to rectify the imperfections related to omitted constructs in the original edition via other references. However, a few of such imperfections which could not be rectified due to intentional\unintentional omission of content in the original edition, were inherited and preserved from the original work to maintain the authenticity and construct, relevant to the work. We believe that this work holds historical, cultural and/or intellectual importance in the literary works community, therefore despite the oddities, we accounted the work for print as a part of our continuing effort towards preservation of literary work and our contribution towards the development of the society as a whole, driven by our beliefs. We are grateful to our readers for putting their faith in us and accepting our imperfections with regard to preservation of the historical content. HAPPY READING!
