E.M. Forster's A Passage to India concerns the members of the family among the English and the native population of India at some stage in the colonial period in which Britain ruled India. The novel takes vicinity primarily in Chandrapore, a metropolis along the Ganges River notable most effective for the close by Marabar caves. The primary person of the novel is Dr. Aziz, a Moslem health practitioner in Chandrapore and widower. A Passage to India (1924) is a novel by the English writer E. M. Forster set in opposition to the backdrop of the British Raj and the Indian independence movement within the 1920s.
