More perti'nently the ques tion could be reversed, but the answer would be speculative while the reply to the original question would be practical knowledge. So much has been written upon the wines of the Bible in a theologi cal sense, and so little in a practical way that I feel I will be pardoned for my invasion. There are elements in the use of wine that are not fun damental. A foundation seldom accurately pre dicts the structure that is to be raised upon its walls, and the lapse of nearly two thousand years before the two-wine theory is advanced shows con clusively the kind and nature of the building that may be erected if the foundation still exists. What I say in the succeeding pages is only the expression of thoughts I have gathered through experience, the result of what I, in childhood, was taught to believe, that the Bible told us what was evil and also told us how to avoid it.
