Excerpt from Otto's French Conversation Grammar The daily increasing intercourse between England and France, and the greater necessity of understanding and speaking the French language may perhaps justify the publication of a new French Grammar, especially if such a grammar should offer a new and better method of instruction combined with greater practicability than those hitherto in use.
