Beginning with the volume for 1909, though the preparation of the material continued to be provided for by subscription, the printing and publication of the annual bibliography was assumed by the American Historical Association. In its Annual Reports for 1909, 1910, 1911, bibliographies of the material published in those years were included. The Yale University Press, with much public spirit, took up at this point the publication of the series, and has issued as independent volumes the bibliographies for 1912, 1913, and 1914, and the present list.
