UNESCO issued this publication to demystify the concept of open access (OA) and to provide concrete steps on putting relevant policies in place. En la Unidad 1, se discute el proceso de publicación de la investigación en cinco etapas: planificación, preparación, la etapa previa a la publicación, etapa de publicación y el estadio postpublication. En la Unidad 2, se centra en como compartir la investigación a través de repositorios OA y Revistas.
