Book Description
Unchallenged Mind provides a bittersweet account of my personal tribulations growing up as an intellectually gifted, but poor African-American kid in New Jersey. Part One describes my often-painful quest to understand why I failed to fulfill the intellectual promise I had shown as a child prodigy. Part Two documents my decades-long struggle to recover, but never quite successfully recapturing, the intellectual prowess I once possessed and enjoyed. Although the story mainly takes place in mid-20th century, many of its themes still are relevant. The consequences of racial inequality, poverty, child abuse, single-parent homes, and a dysfunctional public education system remain part of America's 21st century inner-city narrative.

Book Description
As Nadzah grew up, he watched his city decay around him. Then, one day, a violent surge of insight revealed that his broken city signified a far deeper crisis: his entire culture was dying. Now, his understanding drives him into the wilderness. Forsaking everything that he knows, he tries to regain a glorious past, long forgotten. Only after agonizing failures does he realize that he must find salvation within himself. If he is to save himself and his society, he must confront his inner self and the deepest questions of human existence. Job’s simple life was destroyed the day that he was attacked. Slowly, he recognizes that he can never return to his sheltered way of life. He has seen suffering, now, but where can he look to find joy? The Rebirth of Greatness tells of the search for meaning, along two very different paths. It is a journey through nature, human thought, and the struggle for understanding.

Book Description
Every once in a while, I get a chance to listen to broadcasts on the radio or watch networking on television. And the more and more I do this, the more and more I get deeply concerned with the quality of so-called religious material presented on such via comments, discussions, lectures, preachings, teachings, etc. Every so often, I get led to deal with some of the monumental misunderstandings that menace the messianic ministry, mission, momentum, motion, motive, and movement. As these pessimistic, provocational presentations prevent permeation of positive providential pressure on the profound populace's psyche patterns, I constantly think about the repercussions they have on the spiritual psyche. It is very unfortunate that we are letting our guards down and allowing this type of pessimistic provocational presentations to prevent the permeation of positive providential pressure on the profound populace's psyche patterns. There are two strategies/tactics/ways to deal with this type of teaching and preaching: one is defensive and the other is offensive. The offensive tactic/strategy/way to guard against it is to constantly teach and preach against it, thereby exposing it for what it is and minimizing it, if not eliminating it--this is referred to as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; the defensive tactic/strategy/way to guard against it is to block or prevent it from entering your mind by literally putting a spiritual device of some sort over your mind--this is referred to as the helmet of salvation.

Book Description
Beyond mindfulness, meditation, divine guidance systems, religions, psychologies and philosophies, lies a world not thought-produced but thought-confusing. To decapitate ideologies, beliefs and convictions, learn to use the center for intuitional learning, one's own biometric GPS. Not a mental faculty but mind can learn and be taught how to make cognitive-conscious use of this innate resident of our inner space. Finally, a method for direct connection, the science and art of interaction at the interface of intellect and Ultimate Reality Itself. Integrating why we all feel identically but think very differently, is to finally comprehend why the culprit is unmonitored thinking. Why should we not force the mind to work under the tutelage of Wisdom contained in the unity of the organism within the matrix of Forever? Mind tries to make sense, the Other Nature IS sense. Religions are of past glorious attempts to bring the essence of Eternity into our personal lives. Into our heads, that is, since it has been in everything else all along. (Wisdom Science)

Book Description
By establishing a dialogue in which the meditative practices of Buddhism and Christianity speak to the theories of modern philosophy and science, B. Alan Wallace reveals the theoretical similarities underlying these disparate disciplines and their unified approach to making sense of the objective world. Wallace begins by exploring the relationship between Christian and Buddhist meditative practices. He outlines a sequence of meditations the reader can undertake, showing that, though Buddhism and Christianity differ in their belief systems, their methods of cognitive inquiry provide similar insight into the nature and origins of consciousness. From this convergence Wallace then connects the approaches of contemporary cognitive science, quantum mechanics, and the philosophy of the mind. He links Buddhist and Christian views to the provocative philosophical theories of Hilary Putnam, Charles Taylor, and Bas van Fraassen, and he seamlessly incorporates the work of such physicists as Anton Zeilinger, John Wheeler, and Stephen Hawking. Combining a concrete analysis of conceptions of consciousness with a guide to cultivating mindfulness and profound contemplative practice, Wallace takes the scientific and intellectual mapping of the mind in exciting new directions.

Book Description
Voluptuous Constance Ganymede saunters into the office of Dutch Diehard, private detective, one sultry July day and asks him to locate her husband, Franz, an adventurer and playboy who's gone missing. Dutch falls instantly in love (or at least lust) with Constance, eliciting jealousy in his favorite libation, Sputum-neck, that continually calls out to him like some satyr-seducing siren. Constance isn't the only one looking for Franz. Fritz Ganymede, twin brother of the missing Franz, also hires Dutch to find Franz, doubling Dutch's income to two halves of nothing. In spite of mangling facts to fit his hypotheses, Dutch is left with more questions than answers. Who paid Dutch a thousand in cash to play dumb? Which Ganymede did Dutch find taking a final beauty nap? Why is the military involved? Who keeps putting gum on the bottom of restaurant tables? Wait we don't actually deal with that last one in this book. Dutch Diehard is forced to wade through his many, MANY vices (and voices) to stay alive, get the girl, and solve the case. Achieving all of that might be aiming a little high, but high is where Dutch Diehard lives. Does that even make sense? It will, but God's teeth it gets convoluted.
