Lewis Willis was born 11 November 1734. His parents were Henry Willis and Mildred Washington, sister of Augustine Washington, father of George Washington (1732-1799). He married Mary Champe and they had six children. He married Anne Carter in 1775 and they had three children. He married Elizabeth Bromfield in 1811. He died in 1813.
