Twice as Much Tomorrow
Author: Patricia L. Schultz
Publisher: WestBow Press
ISBN: 9781664204751
Category :
Languages : en
Pages : 240
Book Description
'Twice As Much Tomorrow' is about the journey of a young lady who fell in love with God when she first met Him personally, in 1974. She was bold enough to tell Him she wanted "everything He had that she could possibly have, and she didn't care what the cost was, personally, to herself." He took her up on her offer, and the next thing she knew her life was in a downward spin that was more like a roller coaster! There were funny times, heartbreaking times, and times she felt so close to God she could cuddle up and go to sleep in the shelter of His arms. Once Jesus actually took her for a walk with Him, hand in hand in the Spirit, with tears rolling down her face the entire time! She always told Him that was her biggest desire, and that she wanted them to just walk hand in hand, and talk like He and the apostles did when He was here with them. But she couldn't talk for crying! To have that kind of relationship with God is worth any price! Take a walk with Patricia and find out what it's been like. She was given a direct promise from God, confirmed by three ladies, one of whom didn't even know the other two, and a visiting Evangelist, who she thought she was well hidden from, because she knew exactly what he was going to do! But he needed to give her a Word of Knowledge from the Lord, and would not be deterred. She then spent 40 years in the wilderness before she came to her Promised Land. There were times she didn't think she would make it mentally, but she always knew she would make it spiritually. Sometimes she felt like she was barely hanging on to Him by just a thread from His robe, and times He picked her up and carried her for days, weeks, months at a time. Then one night, she woke up to the knowledge that He was right there in the corner by the head of her bed. "Everything will be okay Patricia. It is time. I'm also going to bless you financially." You see, 'The Promise' was never about material things; it was never about finances. It was always so much more! When God says He will never leave you, He means it! You can always count on Him. ALWAYS! The one thing she's learned above all else is that nobody can ever love you like God loves you. They don't have the capability; God created love, and God is love. You see, 'The Promise' was never about material things; it was never finances. It was always so much more!

Book Description
The Why, Where, When, What, Who, How & Wow of writing poetry Ai Ni and Ronaldo made this book to help poor people in Haiti, to build a school and teach them the art of a happy life. A warning upfront from the editor: DON'T READ THIS BOOK From problem to poem in seven small steps? You don't want to know him, Ronaldo*, the plebs. Do you hope to learn something? You'll end up frustrated. This bundle is pointless: Art can't be dictated. Ronaldo's religion, In God's eyes: a sin. Just plain entertain meant And end with a grin. [*Editor's Note: In this illiterary no-work-at-all, I only insult Ronaldo7 Siète, the typist of this collection of erors and misstakes, an arrogant know-it-all who hopes to become as rich and famous as CR7, that handsome Ronaldo who makes goals and creates art on football fields.]

Tomorrow's Troopers
Author: Hank Davis

Category : Fiction
Languages : en
Pages : 304
Book Description
Classic stories of science fiction featuring powered armor: Tales from the Golden Age through the current era featuring military, police, and civilians utilizing powered armor. Stories by Joe Haldeman, Christopher Ruocchio, Jason Cordova, and more! MEN, MACHINES, AND TOMORROW’S BATTLEFIELDS War is planned violence . . . or, at least, it starts out that way. And even if plans go awry, the violence is indispensable. Today’s soldiers have far more firepower on a per-man basis than the doughboys of a century ago, and there is no reason to believe that this trend will not extend into the future. Imagine a revival of suits of armor, but with structural strength undreamed of by medieval knights, and powered by built-in motors, giving each soldier the invulnerability of a tank, but even more mobility, and mechanical muscle strong enough to carry light artillery, rocket launchers, laser cannon, and weapons not even on the drawing boards yet. Add on the ability to fly, or at least jump for a kilometer at a time, using rocket boosters, or even powerful leg motors, or a combination of both. The stuff that superheroes are made of, hanging in every fighting man or woman’s closet, ready to wear. If it’s possible, history teaches us, it will be done. But don’t expect a nation or planet possessing such battalions of super-powered soldiers to not worry about attack by an enemy . . . there’s no reason why the enemy won’t have its own armored infantry. Keep the midnight oil burning and the R&D rolling. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek by expert dreamers putting the battle-hardened reader at the sharp end of tomorrow. At the publisher’s request, this title is sold without DRM (Digital Rights Management). Praise for anthologies edited by Hank Davis and David Afsharirad: “This intriguing anthology explores the human race’s violent potential [but] also bends toward exploration and the triumph of the human spirit, with brave tales [that] take the reader on a fascinating, thoughtprovoking, enjoyable journey . . . ” —Publishers Weekly on The Year’s Best Military SF and Space Opera, starred review
