Les recommandations de la société européenne de cardiologie 2003 sur la prise en charge du syndrome coronarien aigu avec élévation du segment ST de moins de 12 heures, préconisent une reperfusion dans les 90 minutes du premier contact médical. Cette évaluation, recueillie par le biais de questionnaires, semble toutefois difficile et ne peut être qu'une estimation à pondérer.
