In the back of the mouth there are three; one on each sidewall, . Named the faucial, and one on the back of the tongue, named the tongue tonsil. Behind the nasal passages there are three; one attached to the roof, named the pharyngeal; and one surrounding the orifice of each Eustachian tube, named the tubal. These six, connected by lymphatic canals, are known as Waldeyer's lymphatic ring.
