Every morning when I wake up, before my feet touch the floor, I am so grateful for who I am and for the simple things I have. I give thanks unto God. This is not a poetry book about religion. We are so busy; oftentimes, we forget to take time out of our busy hours and think about the simple things in life and how amazing our lives are or how amazing our lives can be if we slow down, breathe, and think. From the imagination of the writer, the intent is to inspire, encourage, and comfort. Enjoy the story of each poem as told by the writer. I hope my readers find inspiration in the words I have written so they, too, can be inspired to slow down, breathe, and think.
