Book Description
The true state of Gospel Truth, established upon God's Free Election in Christ. The Agreement, and yet Difference between Law and Gospel; so, that the Gospel cannot be styled Law. The Unconditional nature of Gospel Salvation. The procedure of the Day of Judgment; in the way of a Conciliatory Discourse upon Mr. Williams and his Concessions. In this small volume entitled, "the true State of Gospel Faith," we see a fatal death blow handed out, {throughout its pages, } to all Free-Will Religion of the Arminian type, but more especially to that rank form of Conditionalism, by which work mongers of all persuasions have made sad the hearts of the righteous, even whilst building towering shrines to their own self-righteousness, oft under the guise of a 'sovereign grace' profession.

Getting the Gospel Right - A Balanced View of Salvation Truth
Author: Carl Gordon Olson
Publisher: Global Gospel Publishers
ISBN: 9780962485060
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 388
Book Description
A revised and abridged edition of Beyond Calvinism and Arminianism: An Inductive Mediate Theologyof Salvation, in Which theologian/missiologist Olson gives the fruit of a 25-year theological pilgrimage. His inductive focus on Scripture results in a middle view of salvation truth, thus resolving polarized extremes. This edition is much more readable and accessible for most Christians. The exegetical methodology emphasizes context, word studies, and grammar of all relevant passages, with extensive support for eternal security and refutation of deterministic concepts of salvation. In the foreword, Dr. Tim LaHaye refers to the incredible distribution of the academic edition, which sold out in 3 years. A revised academic edition is forthcoming in 2006.

The Gospel Truth Of The Bible: The Other Sheep
Author: Maurice Caines
Publisher: Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.
ISBN: 1635259630
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 601
Book Description
As we look to the Bible for all the answers we need, I discovered that there are two distinct laws, which has caused confusion to almost the whole world, throughout Christendom. These two laws are (1) the Holy Law of God and (2) the Ceremonial laws of Moses. Scriptures revealed that God gave Moses the instruction to write the Ceremonial laws that were in a book. But God wrote his Holy Law, the Ten Commandments, with his fingers on two tables of stones. Then God's Law was place inside the Ark of the Covenant. Moses' laws were on the outside, of the Ark of the Covenant, also within the Most Holy Place of the tabernacle on earth. This earthly tabernacle was a replica of the Heavenly Sanctuary. Moses laws were contained in the hand-writings of ordinances; as obtained in commandments, which consists of sabbath days, feasts days, holy days, and new moon. None of which had anything to do with the nature of God's Holy Law, that also contains God's holy Sabbath-Day, which was designed for us in the atmosphere of worship at creation. It's these ceremonial laws of Moses that did not make anything perfect. These are the same laws, which were nailed to the cross, and were abolished by Christ death on the cross. They were taken out of the way, through the recompense, of the consequence of sin. Eph. 2:15; Heb. 7:19; Col. 2:14,16; Lev. 1:1-3; Deut. 31:24-26. Not only is the Holy Law of God eternal, holy, perfect, just, and good, it will stand fast forever and ever. It is called the Royal Law. Christ did not destroy it, but provided it with magnification, of its divine purpose. God's Law will continue to give the knowledge of sin, because without it there can be no grace. Therefore, the lingering presence of sin will always be the result of transgressing God's Holy Law. James 2:8; Rom. 3:20; 7:7; Matt 5:7; Heb. 9:4; Psalms 19:7; 111:7,8. And this is the Gospel Truth of the Bible.
