Book Description
"Why would I tell you that?" Karver isn't wrong, I will say that. He doesn't know anything about me and it would be crazy to blindly trust me. I have to say that he's a sexy ass man. He's easily 6'5 and that isn't a common height for a human male. He has beautiful dark skin and he's pretty toned, though not as muscular as many of our pack members. He has dark brown eyes and long thick lashes. His hair is tapered and there's a scar that runs down his left cheek, stopping at his chin. Just sexy. What do you think, Raven? I don't know, but I feel....different. Different? What do you mean? I don't know. Well that isn't helpful, but what can I do. I breath in deeply, but there's no recognizable scent. He doesn't smell like anything which is peculiar on it's own. Do you notice anything? No, Kelvin. I have no idea what he is. Mate! ****** Lycans have been hunted for decades, but Meena Steward is one of the few that have survived. She's the Alpha of her pack, the Steelhead Crest pack. She's unmated, which is becoming a problem because it's causing her Lycan to go feral. Meena refuses to take a chosen mate, no matter how many Alpha werewolves beat down her door. Will she find her mate before it's too late, or will she have to give in? Lucious has been on his own for a long time, and it's been a tough life. He doesn't remember his family or where he came from, but he knows where and who he's trying to avoid. Will he ever be safe and find peace? Will he ever learn about his past? Sapphira has never been the same since she lost her pet, and she hasn't stopped looking for him. She will scorch the Earth to get to him. Will she ever find him again? Join the journey and find out what happens in their lives. Join the Resurrected Lycan.

Book Description
“Now listen to me carefully, Energia,” He said with a sinister voice. I had even forgotten that we were in the open where anyone could come from anywhere. “This, is also mine.” I watched as his hands move down to touch my ass. My breathing quickened and just at that moment, in between my thighs dripped wet. With what he was doing, he was really turning me on. “Did I forget to say this?” My mouth parted in shock as his hands reached through my joggers, cupping my sex. I had just been taken, I inwardly cringed with my legs, moving with so much excitement. “Getting too excited, are we?” With a half-smirk, he asked. He then took my lips again. He softly bit it, making me cry out in pleasure. “And, this.” He said with my breasts in his hand. He pinched the nipple and rubbed them softly with his thumb. “In fact, all of you. And, I refuse to share it with anyone at all. You are mine, Energia. Mine and only mine,” He concluded, before walking away. A sassy stripper named Serena. A ruthless Lycan Alpha named Luca. What happens when these two different people are brought together by the Moon Goddess? How about when two different enemies from both sides come forward with a quest to ruin them all? It's all a game. A game of the Mafias, Lycans, Hybrids, Witches and Elves.

Book Description
Christian tradition has largely held three theological affirmations on the resurrection of the physical body. Firstly, that bodily resurrection is not a superfluous hope of afterlife. Secondly, there is immediate post-mortem existence in Paradise. Finally, there is numerical identity between pre-mortem and post-resurrection human beings. The same tradition also largely adheres to a robust doctrine of The Intermediate State, a paradisiacal disembodied state of existence following the biological death of a human being. This book argues that these positions are in fact internally inconsistent, and so a new theological model for life after death is required. The opening arguments of the book aim to show that The Intermediate State actually undermines the necessity of bodily resurrection. Additionally, substance dualism, a principle The Intermediate State requires, is shown to be equally untenable in this context. In response to this, the metaphysics of the afterlife in Christian theology is re-evaluated, and after investigating physicalist and constitutionist replacements for substance dualist metaphysics, a new theory called "Eschatological Presentism" is put forward. This model combines a broadly Thomistic hylemorphic metaphysics with a novel theory of Time. This is an innovative examination of the doctrine of life after death. It will, therefore, be of great interest to scholars of analytic theology and philosophy of religion.

Book Description
A global study of modern adaptations for readers of all ages of Little Red Riding Hood. Red Riding Hood for All Ages investigates the modern recasting of one of the world's most beloved and frequently told tales. Author Sandra L. Beckett examines an international selection of contemporary fiction for children, adolescents, and adults to find a wide range of narrative and interpretive perspectives in the tale and its revisions. Beckett shows how authors and illustrators from around the globe have renewed the age-old tale in a range of multilayered, sophisticated, and complex textual and visual Red Riding Hood narratives. With a child protagonist who confronts grown-up issues of sexuality, violence, and death, the Red Riding Hood story appeals to readers of all age groups and is often presented in crossover texts that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Beckett presents a wide selection of retellings, many of which have been never translated into English. Texts come from a variety of countries in Europe, North America, South America, Africa, and Asia and date from the early twentieth to the twenty-first century. This wealth of stories and illustrations is organized thematically into sections that consider Little Red Riding Hood alternately as a cautionary tale, an initiation story, a story focused on the wolf, a tale inspired by the wolf within, and a story of an unconventional girl who runs with wolves. This volume provides a global survey of Red Riding Hood's story in contemporary culture, proving that the character is omnipresent in modern literature and that the universal appeal of her story knows no age boundaries. Red Riding Hood for All Ages will be of interest to scholars of folklore, gender studies, and literature, as well as librarians, educators, parents, and all those interested in the many interpretations of the Red Riding Hood tale.

Book Description
Although the word "vampire" was not introduced until the eighteenth century, variations of this hemo-craving creature have existed since long before the Christian era. Almost every civilization had a demon or spirit—often a god or goddess—whose bloodlust complicated things for the general populace. But sometimes it’s not all about the blood. Modern vampire tales have stronger-willed and less traditional beings at their core: beings who strive to coexist with mortals by drinking synthetic blood, like True Blood’s Bill Compton, or who sparkle in the daylight instead of disintegrating, like Twilight’s Edward Cullen. Plus, these guys are way easier on the eyes than the more old-school vampires out there, especially filmmaker F. W. Murnau’s infamous Nosferatu, a terrifying vampire in dire need of a manicure. Regardless of time, place, and blood type, Laura Enright cordially invites you into the dark underworld of the vampire. She sheds light (but not too much) on this captivating, age-defying creature by exploring topics ranging from the powers it can possess to what will kill it—for good. With close to thirty top-ten lists brimming with gore and fang-tastic facts, Vampires’ Most Wanted™ is sure to provide the reader with a biting good time.
