The Pro Patria Project (“for one’s country”) is the sequel to the author’s The ProCon Conspiracy. It involves a dozen powerful men – six each from the federal and private sectors – who hatch a plot to assassinate a dozen of the nation’s most prominent citizens. Believing these men are undermining the country’s morals and values, the Committee of Twelve consists of the National Security Advisor, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman, Secretary of Defense, Directors of the CIA and FBI, and a U. S. Congressman. Pardoned men from the defunct ProCon Conspiracy are recruited by the Committee to plan and execute the plot. General Henry Mullaire and Colonel Manfred West, co-conspirators during the ProCon debacle, manage an intriguing scheme that uses desperate men to carry out the ruthless murders. No witnesses remain at the end; no stone is left unturned. pThe third book in the trilogy, The Bane of Cinco de Mayo, will follow later this year.

Book Description
In 1912, Guillermo Calles (1893-1958) became the first Mexican actor to appear in films made in California. Despite limited resources, he began directing and producing his own movies, and in 1929 pioneered production of Spanish-language sound films. His major works, among them the long-unavailable El indio yaqui and Raza de bronce (both 1927), represented Calles' tireless crusade to restore the image of Mexicans and Indians in an era dominated by Hollywood stereotypes. This biography traces Calles' career from his earliest Hollywood days through the 1950s. Included are the only surviving images of the filmmaker's silent productions, a closing commentary on his intimate circle of relatives, and an appendix featuring two fascinating letters written by Calles during a filming trip.

Book Description
The Bane of Cinco de Mayo follows the ill-fated career of a Mexican immigrant who enters the U. S. illegally, becomes naturalized, and joins the Central Intelligence Agency. He distinguishes himself on black missions that involve international intrigue and assassinations. He becomes disillusioned with the political environment and turns into a renegade (wet rogue agent – WRA). The plot thickens when he attempts to murder a governor who is campaigning for the Republican presidential nomination. Like the two earlier books in the trilogy, this one deals with a potpourri of unlikely characters who are drawn together by ironies and individual agendas.

Book Description
This book completes a series of three volumes cataloguing the Javanese-language manuscripts housed in four repositories in the Central Javanese city of Surakarta that were preserved in microfilm under the auspices of the Cornell University's Surakarta Manuscript Project. The present volume describes the manuscripts of the Radya Pustaka Museum and the private library of the late Panembahan Hardjonagoro, a body of materials that date from the early eighteenth to the early twentieth century. Detailing the contents of the 1,204 texts inscribed in these 478 manuscripts, Nancy K. Florida's fully-indexed catalogue guides the reader through a wide range of materials. The manuscripts catalogued include autobiographical writings; gamelan notation; works of calendrical divination; annotated translations of the Qur’an; compendia of colonial laws and regulations; Sufi poetry; royal genealogies; handbooks on horsemanship; histories of legendary heroes; and scripts for wayang performances. Each entry includes information of titles, authors, dates and places of composition, dates and places of inscription, identities of scribes and patrons, and concise descriptions of the contents. Each title is also provided with a subject categorization, along with notes on the physical size and condition of the original manuscript, descriptions of scripts and scribal styles, papers, and watermarks. It is an essential resource for researchers of Javanese history and culture.

Book Description
Often labeled "neo-Nazis" or "right-wing extremists," radical nationalists in the Nordic countries have always relied on music to voice their opposition to immigration and multiculturalism. These actors shook political establishments throughout Sweden, Denmark, and Norway during the 1980s and 1990s by rallying around white power music and skinhead subculture. But though nationalists once embraced a reputation for crude chauvinism, they are now seeking to reinvent themselves as upstanding and righteous, and they are using music to do it. Lions of the North explores this transformation of anti-immigrant activism in the Nordic countries as it manifests in thought and sound. Offering a rare ethnographic glimpse into controversial and secretive political movements, it investigates changes in the music nationalists make and patronize, reading their puzzling embrace of lite pop, folk music, even rap and reggae as attempts to escape stereotypes and craft a new image for themselves. Lions of the North not only exposes the dynamic relationship between music and politics, but also the ways radical nationalism is adapting to succeed in some of the most liberal societies in the world.
