Book Description
This manuscript is not intended by no means to talk about me, though I have been through the tribulations and had faced deaths on too many occasions to mention a few; its sole purpose is to glorify and acknowledge the omnipresence and omnipotence of the Lord Almighty, God the Father, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit of God, and also to admit that the light shines for specific reasons, though calling the Supreme Being through different names, will surely generate different results. What about the Master of Life, and there is another "entity" when he is around everything is in tune, and everyone wants to charm him. The Master of the Universe through him things and functioning are just different; you are forced into doing something and taking actions. When the Morning Star is fully activated around you, you cannot help it or do otherwise "but shine." The Son of God, the Savior of the world, is truly alive and well, and he is glorious . . . if today was another day I would have expressed myself differently about him. Dr. Wisner Joseph Philemy, MD, multicultural background, trained in the field of medicine, psychiatry to be more specific, wonders were happening in and out of the hospital and the Lord Almighty has been walking with us in a sense just like Moses or Prophet Elijah; we are yet to know our spiritual identity, though we are identified as an "angel"; random acquaintances have transformed just by being in contact with our virtues, or because we were too quick in releasing those blessings, or enlighten somebody. In most occasions, those people would shine at our expense, or nothing would change for us, and everything for them. Brain have been transformed, people have been converted into angelic types, or at least with angelic prowess. By the time you read some pages of this manuscript, you would find yourself functioning at a different horizon for the better. Visual Theology
Author: Tim Challies
Publisher:
ISBN: 9780310520436
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 0
Book Description
We live in a visual culture. Today, people increasingly rely upon visuals to help them understand new and difficult concepts. The rise and stunning popularity of the Internet infographic has given us a new way in which to convey data, concepts and ideas. But the visual portrayal of truth is not a novel idea. Indeed, God himself used visuals to teach truth to his people. The tabernacle of the Old Testament was a visual representation of man's distance from God and God's condescension to his people. Each part of the tabernacle was meant to display something of man's treason against God and God's kind response. Likewise, the sacraments of the New Testament are visual representations of man's sin and God's response. Even the cross was both reality and a visual demonstration. As teachers and lovers of sound theology, Challies and Byers have a deep desire to convey the concepts and principles of systematic theology in a fresh, beautiful and informative way. In this book, they have made the deepest truths of the Bible accessible in a way that can be seen and understood by a visual generation.

Seeing by the Light
Author: IKE MILLER
Publisher: Inter-Varsity Press
ISBN: 1789741688
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 270
Book Description
How can we understand God's revelation to us? Throughout the church's history, theologians have often answered this question by appealing to a doctrine of illumination whereby the Holy Spirit shapes our knowledge and understanding of Scripture. Without denying the role of the Holy Spirit or the cognitive role of illumination, Ike Miller casts a broader vision of divine illumination and its role in the Christian life. In his constructive approach, Miller argues for a fully trinitarian view of illumination that forms not just our intellect, but also appeals to the affections and encourages our ethical action. In order to develop this theology of illumination, Miller explores both Augustine's and Karl Barth's readings of the Gospel and Epistles of John, including Barth's previously untranslated lectures on the Gospel of John. In the light of his careful study of both the Johannine literature and the theologies of two giants from Christian history, Miller contends for a doctrine of illumination whereby we are enabled to know God and participate in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
