Each volume also contains engravings and charts relating to naval engagements and important harbours around the world. Volume 33, published in 1815, contains reports of naval engagements with American ships and the terms of the Treaty of Ghent which ended the Anglo-American War begun in 1812. Napoleon's return to power is discussed and his 'abdication' is announced at the end of the volume. An analysis of the Battle of New Orleans and maps and descriptions of Tahiti and Valenciennes are also included.
