The book on Mineral Policy, Mining Laws and Development is written by the author for the benefit of the entire mining industry in the country. In short the author presented the existing status and also comprehensive overview of all aspects of mining vis a vis development within the country's mineral policy and legislative framework.

Mining refers to the process of extracting minerals and metals from the crust of the earth. Some minerals can be mined more easily as they are found on the earth’s surface, while others lie far beneath the surface and can be obtained only by digging deep underground.
