Book Description
Catalog for The Legacy Shoppe Our Past Like all new businesses, we were extremely excited when we first opened our doors in December of 2019. The store was gorgeous and the public loved us. We began as an upscale resell shoppe with the intention of selling beautiful, gently used home goods. My daughter and I were going to run it and build on our artistic and creative interests. In February of 2020, our store set out to expand into Nostalgic, legacy photography. Costumes had been purchased along with great props. By March of 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic hit and by July of the same year, our doors were closed. Now, The Legacy Shoppe has reinvented itself and we're looking at Legacy in a whole new way! Although my daughter has returned to her previous profession, it was important for me to continue on the entrepreneurial track but also expose the public to my artwork and books. My pastime had always been painting. In the summers I would load my artwork into my Jeep and travel to art shows, festivals, and art galleries. I even ended up having some of my hand-painted art pieces in a department store in Atlanta, Georgia. That was many years ago, but it's important to me to share my gifts and age doesn't matter. So here I am with the rebooted Legacy Shoppe featuring my very own artwork, books, and stationery that you can buy for yourself and your friends. Through art, books, videos, and regular "Ronnie Creative Talks", I hope to be your online and home shopping resource for creative ideas, inspiration, and beauty. Peace, joy, and light-It's a great place to be, Ronnie

Book Description
A Timeslip Adventure When Rachel's last remaining relative dies, she expects to inherit her London house. What she does not expect is to also inherit an Antique Shop which has not been opened in more than sixty years. She takes her friend, Peter Attwood, an archaeologist and historian to investigate the shop, but what they find is far more than a simple neglected retail store. They discover a coin minted at the time of the young King Edward V, but when they try to remove it from the shop, they step outside and into 1483, the year the coin was minted. Wanting to see the princes in the Tower and perhaps discover the truth of what happened to them, Peter persuades Rachel to dress in some of the historical clothing in the back room of the antique shop, and visit the Tower. There they watch the young King Edward V writing and when he leaves his scroll on a stone bench, Peter takes the opportunity to grab it. A journal written by one of the princes could be worth a fortune, but when they try to take it out of the shop, they find the same problem: it cannot be taken into the twenty first century.A scheme to hide the scroll in the fifteenth century and find it again in the twenty-first seems an easy option, until they are observed digging it up and accused of witchcraft.

This holiday season, practical and rational Anna Bell will do anything to save her family’s mini-mart from going under in her small beach town known for its traditions. But with all of the debt and bill collectors her dad accumulated before his passing, she’s aware her mom may have to sell to the buyer who has just made an offer. Impetuous and optimistic Peter Locke is known as the new billionaire in town who is buying up failing businesses, presumably to inject them with “new life” and turn them around for a quick profit. When Anna discovers Peter is the buyer who made an offer on the Main Street Mini-Mart, she’s determined to convince him that keeping with tradition is the way to go so he doesn’t make changes to all her dad built with such love and care. Spending time with Peter gives Anna the first feelings of comfort and joy since her dad passed. And she has to admit the changes he makes to the Christmas lighting ceremony are positively delightful. In fact, his enthusiasm and warmth soon has Anna falling head over heels for him. As their relationship blossoms, Anna worries he’ll learn her initial motivation for spending time with him was to help her family’s business. Will Peter discover the truth about Anna and walk away from her? Or will the magic of Christmas give them both the best gift of all: love?

Book Description
"Shoe Shop is an anthology and an experiment in imagining different paths, speaking in different tongues – on Africa, movement, public art, migration, beauty: considering an innate humanity. The book has been shaped to create a space for transformation and fluidity, for care, and for the sole pleasure of movement. It is a site for loitering, waiting, but also for doubt and reserving a space to enquire"--Publisher's website.

Book Description
The fate of the world is often driven by the curiosity of a girl. What happened to the Lost Colony of Roanoke remains a mystery, but the women who descended from Eleanor Dare have long known that the truth lies in what she left behind: a message carved onto a large stone and the contents of her treasured commonplace book. Brought from England on Eleanor’s fateful voyage to the New World, her book was passed down through the fifteen generations of daughters who followed as they came of age. Thirteen-year-old Alice had been next in line to receive it, but her mother’s tragic death fractured the unbroken legacy and the Dare Stone and the shadowy history recorded in the book faded into memory. Or so Alice hoped. In the waning days of World War II, Alice is a young widow and a mother herself when she is unexpectedly presented with her birthright: the deed to Evertell, her abandoned family home and the history she thought forgotten. Determined to sell the property and step into a future free of the past, Alice returns to Savannah with her own thirteen-year-old daughter, Penn, in tow. But when Penn’s curiosity over the lineage she never knew begins to unveil secrets from beneath every stone and bone and shell of the old house and Eleanor’s book is finally found, Alice is forced to reckon with the sacrifices made for love and the realities of their true inheritance as daughters of Eleanor Dare. In this sweeping tale from award-winning author Kimberly Brock, the answers to a real-life mystery may be found in the pages of a story that was always waiting to be written. Praise for The Lost Book of Eleanor Dare: “From the haunting first line, The Lost Book of Eleanor Dare transports the reader to a mysterious land, time and family . . . the captivating women of the Dare legacy must find their true inheritance hiding behind the untold secrets.” —Patti Callahan, New York Times bestselling author Historical women’s fiction Stand-alone novel Book length: approximately 135,000 words Includes discussion questions for book clubs

Book Description
It was just as it had been the last time I saw it. Dark, desolate and in dire need of repair. Still uninhabited and still drawing me like a moth to the flame. After having seen Luke at the cafe, I needed a moment to clear my head and think of where I had seen that face. I put the kickstand down in front of the old brick entrance and strolled to the front steps, which were in disrepair, to sit as if I owned the place, looking out across the street where the houses on all sides stood straight and prominent, with more beauty than functionality, I was certain. I quit my thoughts of Luke in exchange for the moment, needing to visualize this house on canvas."

Bellingham is known as the city of subdued excitement, but it was not always this way. From its discovery by a British naval captain to its coal, lumber, and fish industries and to its riots and social movements, Bellingham has had quite a rich and sometimes controversial past. Starting out as four separate towns, it took the leadership of a few and the work of many to bring a community together and create one of Washington's secret masterpieces.
