Book Description
In the beginning, it was my purpose to find the body o a woman through the use of hypnosis. I wanted to show that, by proper use and knowledge, hypnosis could be used for many things more beneficial to mankind that entertainment. As it became evident that more important knowledge could be obtained from a source that is available only once in a lifetime, I left unfinished the search for the body of Mrs. Dolores Mae Siddall. Many hypnotists, including myself, have, through regression, made contact with entities on various levels; but never had I heard of anyone obtaining the level indicated by Rebecca. Many things not mentioned herein were received from this level—including others which will some day be made known to all those who are interested. To sum up, the following pattern of life has been established in these series of regressions: The Creation “God created man in his own image” (Genesis 1:27). A creation is made by the leader (God). This creation or entity is given knowledge of its purpose in life and schooled in the requirements for its purification by the teacher (Christ) and the masters (others, such as Buddha, Mohammed, etc.). Then, at the request of God—or by their own desire to learn and raise themselves to a higher perfection—they prepare to be born. (As one subject explained it, To change from a high vibration and frequency to a low vibration and solid.”) This preparation is made by studying the records supplied by god of the persons and the experience they will be born to; then, at their final decision, they make the entry into life. The Entry The entry is made, at the time of conception, by a force described as mass energy, when the soul is united with the physical body and the person begins a growth into life. The months during pregnancy are a growing, learning and resting period to prepare you for this life. If, at any time, you feel that you no longer want to complete or lice this life experience, you can return to the area of your accomplishment to further your learning and prepare for another life experience. (See Rebecca’s explanation of miscarriage.) We are told in regression that the soul must go down to go up—or come down into a life experience to learn that which is necessary to raise itself to a higher level of perfection. The Experience and Purpose We are told that a person’s life experience is determined before he makes his entry into it; and it is his own choice, the way that he conducts himself in this experience. Psychology says that what one’s environment is, and hereditary traits are, determine one’s personality, profession and way of life. If we accept the theory given from regressions, it would then seem that what environment and heredity contributes to your experience is the type of heredity and experience that you have selected, prior to being born, to advance your learning and perfection. We are told that we must learn everything, good and bad. This would mean that we must, through actual experiences, associations or study, know every phase of life and its environment to reach perfection. To Go Ahead It has been explained that we have only one life, but that we live many life experiences. What we term “death” is only the completion of one phase of the learning process. When we lose the will to live, when we feel that we can no longer learn to help ourselves or others, we may go ahead. We return to an area beyond, to a level of perfection where we are counseled by our God and masters to prepare ourselves for another experience. Each of us has free agency or fee will to decide what we want here and beyond. If we choose to stay in this beyond area, we can; but if we make this choice, we are then limited to the knowledge and perfection already gained. We may be able to move up in one area; but to reach the total; we must choose to live

Embodiment and the Inner Life
Author: Murray Shanahan
Publisher:
ISBN: 0199226555
Category : Computers
Languages : en
Pages : 230
Book Description
To understand the mind and its place in Nature is one of the great intellectual challenges of our time, a challenge that is both scientific and philosophical. How does cognition influence an animal's behaviour? What are its neural underpinnings? How is the inner life of a human being constituted? What are the neural underpinnings of the conscious condition? Embodiment and the Inner Life approaches each of these questions from a scientific standpoint. But it contends that, before we can make progress on them, we have to give up the habit of thinking metaphysically, a habit that creates a fog of philosophical confusion. From this post-reflective point of view, the book argues for an intimate relationship between cognition, sensorimotor embodiment, and the integrative character of the conscious condition. Drawing on insights from psychology, neuroscience, and dynamical systems, it proposes an empirical theory of this three-way relationship whose principles, not being tied to the contingencies of biology or physics, are applicable to the whole space of possible minds in which humans and other animals are included. Embodiment and the Inner Life is one of very few books that provides a properly joined-up theory of consciousness, and will be essential reading for all psychologists, philosophers, and neuroscientists with an interest in the enduring puzzle of consciousness.

Subconscious Power
Author: Kimberly Friedmutter
Publisher: Atria Books
ISBN: 1501187082
Category : Self-Help
Languages : en
Pages : 288
Book Description
Activate the raw power of your subconscious to create the life you’ve always wanted, using six essential lessons from one of the world’s most renowned hypnotherapists in this “nourishing and healing book” (Michael Bernard Beckwith, author of Spiritual Liberation). Unsatisfying careers. Volatile, unhealthy relationships. Unfulfilled dreams. Too many of us are living lives that fall short of what we truly desire. But as celebrity hypnotist Kimberly Friedmutter explains in this life-changing book, not only is it possible to design the life of your dreams, but the power to do so already lies within you, in your subconscious mind. The subconscious is the root of your true power and desire; it’s your inner child, your authentic self. It is the honest compass that will lead you to a life of happiness, so long as you are able to follow its direction. We all have the power to access it but as we grow up we’re taught to stop daydreaming and to follow society’s rules, which makes us disconnect from our subconscious, often with tragic results. In Subconscious Power, Kimberly guides you through six principles that bring your conscious mind in line with your subconscious desires. She shares practical, three-minute exercises that will help you transform your relationships, find true love, lose weight after years of struggling with the scale, overcome addictions, and achieve new career successes and heights. Featuring inspiring success stories and the practical tools you need to make meaningful change, Subconscious Power gives “you a pathway to achieve your goals and dreams in an effective and easily understandable manner. This book will improve your life in ways you never thought of” (David Zelon, producer of Soul Surfer).

Transforming the Inner and Outer Family
Author: E Mark Stern
Publisher: Routledge
ISBN: 1317711882
Category : Family & Relationships
Languages : en
Pages : 226
Book Description
This enlightening book integrates humanistic and transpersonal psychotherapy principles with family systems work. Transforming the Inner and Outer Family discusses a wide range of creative methodologies, such as the use of meditation, guided imagery, and energy centers in the body to bridge the inner and outer experiences of the individual and family members. Chapters explore the healing capacity of intense affect to unify significant others through the transformation of fear, anger, and grief to understanding, compassion, love, and forgiveness. The book is practical as well as theoretical, containing many case studies focusing on individual, couples, and family therapy. In addition, a special chapter is included on the use of family of origin sessions. Transcripts of actual cases show detailed methods of entering into the therapy system to promote change and demonstrate the operational definition of spirituality and its practical utilization in psychotherapy. Also included is a special candid interview between the author and Virginia Satir, mother of family therapy, nine months before she died, on her personal and professional life.Transforming the Inner and Outer Family presents an integrative family systems model that emphasizes the coordination of existential, humanistic, and transpersonal healing psychologies. This model coordinates Virginia Satir’s later thinking with Roberto Assagioli’s model of psychosynthesis. Author Sheldon Kramer blends principles of psychosynthesis with family systems work and thoroughly explains the use of his new model, Mind-Body Systems Therapy,TM including: development of internal family configurations the spiritual dimension within the systemic context integrating the use of the body with meditation in healing practices methods of healing the inner nuclear and intra-generational family bridging the inner and outer familial world stages of inner and outer healing the use of self in therapyTransforming the Inner and Outer Family is on the cutting edge of current emerging interests in alternative medicine, especially in holistic principles of healing, with emphasis on the spiritual dimension as a major healing conduit for transformation. Readers will discover in this book a solid theoretical base that integrates traditional psychology, including psychodynamic/object relations theory, with less-mainstream forms of psychotherapy, and will learn effective strategies for helping individuals, couples, and families heal.
