Book Description
Welcome to the September issue of Imaginarium! In this issue we welcome some more magical creatures. Melanie Staudler gave us some wonderful photos of her work, including the cover photo and an interview with her. Our dear friends, Evangelia Thomou and Panagiotis Kardaris, will take us on a journey through the ages and tell us about the story of the Goddess, the Great Mother, who changes faces but never dies. From the Age of Cancer to the Age of Aquarius, the Goddess lives among us. The extraordinary mythalogist Evangelia Papanikou takes us to Ancient Greece and talks to us about Medea, the great witch. Was she a misunderstood figure of mythology after all? What motifs does her story serve? Amy Donnelly, archaeologist and enchanting blogger, explains the witch's bottles as archaeological artefacts. We'll also join the classroom, as we do every month for our lessons. The astrology class is about the messenger of Gods and Men, Mercury. What does Mercury indicate in our chart and in each sign? We will continue our journey with the Fool of the Tarot and learn the secrets of the Chariot. We'll look at the magical history of the Cat and the stories of Penny Dreadful, the street literature of the Victorian Era. We will learn the secrets of sage and organize our month based on the Moon. Of course, we will visit the Planetarium to see the astrological aspects of the month. We will travel to Edinburgh on our brooms and see the ghosts in the magical corners of this fairy-tale city. Finally we will cook...Ancient Greek Cuisine and recipes that have survived for millennia. And because for the Ancient Greeks food was always associated with something higher, we will also see the art of Artemisia Gentileschi, the artist of feminism. Was she really a feminist or have we dressed her up in the social colours of our time?

Book Description
From the Editorial Another year is coming to an end, dear friends. Despite the difficult winter that has been predicted to be based on world events, we continue to look for the magic of life in the small and simple things. The Christmas season is one of those times that can bring us close to the simple joys of life. For this issue, we have prepared several festive articles and portraits of enchanting creatives with a winter character. For this issue, we are hosting two photographers. The first one is Olga Bazhutova, a photographer from Russia, who also provided us with the cover photo. Many thanks to Olga for the interview and her cooperation. We also host Noemi from France, also a photographer, where she decorates our winter issue with dreamy photos full of Christmas nostalgia. With her lens, she captures not only the beauty of Christmas but also the beauty of winter. I especially thank her for her portrait on our pages and hope you enjoy her writing as much as her photographs. Noemi will definitely make you love winter if you are not already a winter lover. In our book's column, I also have the pleasure and honour of hosting Gina Martin and her trilogy which is published by Womancraft Publishing 'When She Wakes'. Her trilogy is about 13 women who on the Winter Solstice have an extraordinary vision. The world is about to be destroyed and all its sacred treasures are. The women's goal is to rescue the Wisdom of the Goddess. So, on the occasion of this wonderful trilogy, Gina talks to us about her actions and her writing journey. Every month we also host the mythological article by Evangelia Papanikou. For this month she has prepared for us the myth of Pasiphae where she analyses the erotic magic and the dark secrets that are hidden behind closed doors or in the labyrinths of our minds. The celebration of Christmas is known to have a pagan origin from the Saturnalia of ancient Greece and also from Yule, the pagan celebration of the Wheel of the Year. Therefore, we explore both holidays, we celebrate them according to the background that everyone considers right, whether we are Christian or not, the holiday celebrates the Winter Solstice and the return of the Sun King to our earth. In the spirit of the holidays, we have several recipes both in our cooking column and in the Witch's Cabinet column, where we share with you several remedies, beauty recipes, and spells to celebrate these days. In this issue, I also have the pleasure of hosting Marcia Massino who has dedicated a wonderful article to us about the astrological secrets of the Coronation of the new King of England and the secrets of the preparation of the Royal Coronation Oil. Finally, in addition to our regular astrology columns and those of the tarot, we have a multi-page feature on the zodiac predictions for 2023...... Book Description
The year is 1917. Following the sudden death of his Professor, a young man and his two companions are approached by a strange man who gives them a book to safeguard. This book, the Imaginarium Geographica, is the reason the Professor was killed, and now, they too are in mortal danger. Chased by the ferocious Wendigo, half-man half-werewolf creatures, the three companions seek refuge on a ship - a ship that leads them to the extraordinary lands of myth and legend mapped in the precious book they carry. As their adventure unfolds we learn that the friends are in fact C.S Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien and Charles Williams - and as they discover that events in the known world mirror those in the imaginary realm, they come to realise the importance of the Imaginarium Geographica , and if not protected, there will be no peace from the war that rages in our world.

Book Description
Fourteen years ago, HERE, THERE BE DRAGONS, the first book in my illustrated Young Adult Fantasy series The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica was published. It became a bestseller, has been published in more than twenty languages, and still remains in print in hardcover to this day. Six other books in the series were published: THE SEARCH FOR THE RED DRAGON; THE INDIGO KING; THE SHADOW DRAGONS; THE DRAGON'S APPRENTICE; THE DRAGONS OF WINTER; and the final volume, THE FIRST DRAGON, which concluded the story I began in Book One......but it wasn't the last Imaginarium Geographica story I had to tell.I had written a novella about one of my most popular characters, Don Quixote, and how he came to be trapped in the Keep of Time, but only the prologue was ever published. I had also written several short stories which were intended to become picture books at one point, before being set aside. And when I was working on the screenplay of HERE, THERE BE DRAGONS for Warner Brothers, I discovered there was more to share about my trio of heroes, John, Jack, and Charles, than I had ever realized. For most of a decade, readers eagerly awaited Autumn and the publication of a new Imaginarium Geographica book, which many of them had often received as Christmas presents. My publisher wasn't interested in doing another book any time soon, but I've successfully published a number of projects through my own imprint, Coppervale Press, and I couldn't bear to let another Christmas go by without giving my readers a new book (and maybe I also really wanted to do a book with an orange cover). So I pulled out all of the unused stories and created an ALL NEW framing sequence that tied them all together... and that's when I realized there would be an eighth book: THE DRAGON KNIGHT.This is a standalone book, readable at either end of the seven book series, or at any point in between. It consists of stories of many of the characters and places my readers already know and love, including "The Littlest Knight and the Last Dragon," "Mr. Tummeler's Grand Day Out," and more, as well as the TRUE story of how John, Jack, and Charles became Caretakers, and the long-awaited novella about Don Quixote and the Keep of Time, "The Thin Man and the Queen of Stars." All with new illustrations by me and presented in a beautiful new edition that will match the existing set perfectly.
