This edition is therefore an embodiment of the Ḥadīth, "Seeking knowledge is obligatory and compulsory on a Muslim and believer." The Sunnah on aṣ-Ṣalāt is the most important duty and function of the office of Muḥammad Rasūlullah and his representatives – the Caliphs. There was never a caliph but included in his instructions to his workers: "Ṣalāt is the most important Pillar of Islām in my mind. I beseech you to uphold it as taught and practiced by the Holy Apostle." It is the greatest simple comprehensive act explaining the meaning of ‘Democracy’ enshrining qualities and obedience to a leader, and when it is imperative to disobey him. In it lies peace, prosperity, security, growth and development of mankind.
