On the other hand, if there be good and sufficient reasons for such a society, they should be known and recognized by the lovers of all branches of medical science and the sympathy and assistance of all enlisted, that the greatest degree of benefit may be conferred, not only to the science of orthodontia, but to humanity at large, to whose welfare all laws enacted and all societies organized owe their first duties.
