Book Description
It was August 30th, 1961. Beverly and Donald Burr bedroom was on the main floor of their house, tucked into the rear. They usually slept with their door open just in case their kids needed them sometime in the night. Ann, with Mary in tow, walked into her parents' bedroom and woke her mother, explaining that Mary was feeling really itchy inside her cast. Beverly woke up and took both girls to Ann's bedroom, soothing Mary until she fell asleep. Beverly talked to Ann for a few moments, asking her to look out for Mary. She then headed downstairs and went back to sleep. Sometime after 5 a.m., Beverly woke up and decided to check on Mary. When she got to the room, she found Mary sleeping peacefully, but Ann was not in the room. She looked into the other rooms and then made her way downstairs. Her concern morphed into panic when she noticed that the front door, which was always locked and latched, was open just a few inches. One window, which was usually partly open because of the placement of their TV antenna, was opened much wider. She rushed to the basement to check for Ann, but she wasn't there either.Searching frantically throughout their home, Ann Marie Burr would not be found. Was she, as later rumors would suggest, Ted Bundy's first victim?

Book Description
In a series of death row interviews done shortly before his execution, infamous serial killer Ted Bundy gave a third-person "confession" of his many murders. This definitive book on Bundy was recently made into a Netflix documentary. What goes on in the mind of a serial killer? Drawn from more than 150 hours of exclusive tape-recorded interviews with the handsome, charismastic Bundy, whose grisly killing spree left at least 30 young women dead across seven states between 1974 and 1978, this chilling exposé provides a shocking self-portrait of one of the most savage sex murderers in history. Speaking eerily in the third person, Bundy reveals appalling details about his crimes, discloses how he attracted his victims, explains how he methodically disguised his acts, and recounts his two daring jailbreaks. Bundy also offers his thoughts on other infamous serial killers, including John Wayne Gacy and Son of Sam.

Book Description
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 When Eleanor Louise Cowell, who would become a serial killer, was pregnant in 1946, she went to the Elizabeth Lund Home for Unwed Mothers in Vermont. She had a baby with a man who said he was a veteran of World War II and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. But when she tried to find him, he disappeared. #2 The family was secretive about the story of Ted’s conception. His grandparents told some people that they had adopted a baby, but Teddy’s great-aunt Virginia Bristol was skeptical. #3 The stories related by Louise’s sisters and relatives have a gothic quality. They say that Samuel was a tyrant, and that he had a stash of pornography that the young Teddy must have seen. He was also cruel to animals. #4 The author’s father was a serial killer, and his mother never told him about it. He learned about it from a psychologist who was studying death row inmates in Florida. He concluded that Ted lacked any core experience of care and nurturance or early emotional sustenance.

Book Description
The inspiration for the five-part Amazon Original docuseries Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer This updated, expanded edition of The Phantom Prince, Elizabeth Kendall’s 1981 memoir detailing her six-year relationship with serial killer Ted Bundy, includes a new introduction and a new afterword by the author, never-before-seen photos, and a startling new chapter from the author’s daughter, Molly, who has not previously shared her story. Bundy is one of the most notorious serial killers in American history and one of the most publicized to this day. However, very rarely do we hear from the women he left behind—the ones forgotten as mere footnotes in this tragedy. The Phantom Prince chronicles Elizabeth Kendall’s intimate relationship with Ted Bundy and its eventual unraveling. As much as has been written about Bundy, it’s remarkable to hear the perspective of people who shared their daily lives with him for years. This gripping account presents a remarkable examination of a charismatic personality that masked unimaginable darkness.

Book Description
An intense psychological thriller for readers of I Am Watching You,The Luckiest Girl Alive, and All the Missing Girls. Two missing girls. Thirteen years apart. Olivia Shaw has been missing since last Tuesday. She was last seen outside the entrance of her elementary school in Hunts Point wearing a white spring jacket, blue jeans, and pink boots. I force myself to look at the face in the photo, into her slightly smudged features, and I can't bring myself to move. Olivia Shaw could be my mirror image, rewound to thirteen years ago. If you have any knowledge of Olivia Shaw's whereabouts or any relevant information, please contact... I've spent a long time peering into the faces of girls on missing posters, wondering which one replaced me in that basement. But they were never quite the right age, the right look, the right circumstances. Until Olivia Shaw, missing for one week tomorrow. Whoever stole me was never found. But since I was taken, there hasn't been another girl. And now there is.
