Creep in Metals
Author: A. D. Schwope
Publisher:
ISBN:
Category : Aluminum
Languages : en
Pages : 60
Book Description
This report covers phases of an investigation of the fundamentals of creep in metals. Results of a study of creep in single crystals of high-purity aluminum are presented and discussed. It is shown that at low stresses the creep phenomenon appears to be consistent with Mott and Nabarro's theory of exhaustion creep while at higher stresses results appear to be more in accord with ideas expressed by Andrade.
