The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1967, volume 1, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from February through May 1967. For the first three months of the year, Brother Lee continued his six-month visit to the Far East begun in the previous year. He spent the first two days of the year in the Philippines and then traveled to Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia before returning to Taipei. There is no record of his speaking before his return to Taipei. Brother Lee returned to the United States in April and remained in Los Angeles until early May, after which he visited San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Sacramento before returning to Los Angeles at the end of May. The contents of this volume are divided into six sections, as follows: 1. Fifteen messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, from February 9 through March 5. They were previously published in Chinese under the title Experiencing Christ as the Portion of the Saints. 2. Six messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, from February 9 through 13. They were previously published in Chinese under the title Basic Knowledge on Service. 3. Twenty-one messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, from February through April. They were previously published in Chinese under the title Serving in Coordination and Washing in Love. 4. Five messages given in Los Angeles, California, from April 21 through 23. They were previously published in The Stream, volume 5, number 3, August 1, 1967, under the title Pray-reading the Word and have been revised for inclusion in this volume. 5. Five messages given in Los Angeles, California, from April 24 through May 29. They are included in this volume under the title The Service in the Church for the Expression of the Body. The first two messages were combined into one. 6. Fifteen messages given in San Francisco, California, on May 3 through 9. They are included in this volume under the title Enjoying the Lord in His Word by Pray-reading for the Building Up of the Church in Oneness. Two of the messages were combined.

The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1967, volume 2, contains messages and fellowship given by Brother Witness Lee from May 11, 1967, through January 23, 1968. As mentioned in the preface to volume 1, Brother Lee visited SanF rancisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Sacramento in May before returning to Los Angeles at the end of the month. He then visited San Francisco in June and returned to Los Angeles at the beginning of July, where he remained until the end of October. In November and early December he spent time in San Francisco and Los Angeles and also visited Modesto, California; Corvallis, Oregon; Vancouver, Canada; and Sacramento, California. There is no record of his speaking in the latter four cities. He remained in Los Angeles from mid-December through the end of the year. The contents of this volume are divided into thirteen sections, as follows: 1. Five messages given in Seattle, Washington, and Vancouver, Canada, on May 11 through 17. Four of the messages were spoken in Chinese and subsequently translated into English. The five messages are included in this volume under the title The Ground of the Church and the Law of Blessing for the Church. 2. Eleven messages given in Los Angeles, California, from August 26 through September 1. These messages were previously published as a nine-chapter book under the title Enjoying Christ as the Word and the Spirit through Prayer. 4. Six messages given in Los Angeles, California, from September 2 through 4. These messages were previously published under the title The Heavenly Vision. 5. Ten messages given in Los Angeles, California, in 1963, 1965, and 1969. These messages were previously published under the title Our Human Spirit. Chapter 8 is included also in The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1963, volume 3, as chapter 9 in Basic Principles of the Experience of Life. 6. An unknown number of messages given in Taiwan in 1965 and 1967. They first appeared in The Ministry of the Word in 1966 and 1968. These messages were translated from the Chinese and previously published under the title The Spirit in the Epistles. From September 12 through 19, 1965, Brother Lee visited Toyama and Tokyo, Japan. Regrettably, there is no record of his speaking in those cities.

The contents of this volume are divided into ten sections, as follows: 1. One hundred nineteen letters written to Brother Liu Suey on June 3, 1947, through October 5, 1981. These letters are included in this volume under the title Letters to Liu Suey. 2. Eight letters written to Brother Weigh Kwang-hsi (K. H. Weigh) on September 25, 1961, through October 3, 1974. Three hundred thirty-one letters written from an unknown date in 1948 through October 15, 1994, to various churches and individual saints; five letters written on April 20, 1967, through March 14, 1968, to Brother Carl Althaus; a letter written on February 8, 1992, to Brother Benson Phillips and all the full-time serving brothers and sisters in Moscow, Russia; a letter written on August 7, 1992, to the young brothers and sisters in the church in Moscow; and a letter written on January 29, 1993, to the saints who completed the first term of the full-time training in Moscow.
