Book Description
It is generally a good idea to return to the classics in any genre. This also goes for UFO literature. Rereading a book after ten or twenty years is a rewarding experience. You will discover new data and ideas you didn ́t notice before. The reason, of course, is that you are, in many ways, not the same person reading the book the second or third time. Hopefully you have advanced in knowledge, experience, intellectual and spiritual discernment. A good starting point is to reread the contactee classics of the 1950's, in order to understand the deeper mystery involved in what happened during that era. THE SAUCER SENTINEL was a saucer newsletter published d by D. W. Oppermann, as editor, and C. Russell PicketT as assistan editor, in Saginaw, Michigan during 1950's under the banner of Olimpic Publication. The main idea behind THE SAUCER SENTINEL, like many similar publications of that time, was to create a forum for UFO experience and saucer sightings for the purpose of the investigation of spacecraft, extra-terrestrial travel, and other subjects relating to these matters.Saucerian Publisher was founded with the mission of promoting books in Science Fiction, Paranormal and the Occult. Our vision is to preserve the legacy of literary history by reprint editions of books which have already been exhausted or are difficult to obtain. Our goal is to help readers, educators and researchers by bringing back original publications that are difficult to find at reasonable price, while preserving the legacy of universal knowledge. This book is an authentic reproduction of the original printed text in shades of gray. IMPORTANT: Despite the fact that we have attempted to accurately maintain the integrity of the original work, the present reproduction may have minor errors beyond our control like: missing and blurred pages, poor pictures and readers' pencil markings from the original scanned copy. Because this book is culturally important, we have made available as part of our commitment to protect, preserve and promote knowledge in the world. These issues are an authentic reproduction of the issues of THE SAUCER SENTINEL for the years: 1954-1955. Great, but unpretentious, these issues are extraordinarily rare symbols by themselves of what was going on in those early years of the modern UFO era. This collected edition has the following issues of THE SAUCER SENTINEL: 0ctober 15, 1954 (No.3); January 1, 1955 (No.8); January 15, 1955 (No.9); February 1, 1955 (No.10); February 15, 1955 (No.11); March 1, 1955 (No.12); March 15, 1955 (No.13); April 1, 1955 (No.14);February 15, 1955 (No.15).___ Copy and paste the link for our books: https: //saucerianbooks.blogspot.com/ ___

Also included are two new essays about Roskelley's more recent climbs with his son: an ice climb (Slipstream) in Colorado and to the summit of Everest. Stories off the Wall -- This is Roskelley's autobiography, told in a series of essays that includes accounts of attempts and ascents on the North Face of the Eiger, in the Russian Pamirs, in Yosemite, and in the Himalaya. It also features stories about his blue collar work in an eastern Washington mine and a hunting buddy who dies of cancer. Throughout, Roskelley's thoughts on risk, friendship, and values are portrayed. Book Description
NATIONAL BESTSELLER • From the bestselling author of The Flight Attendant, here is a novel that examines wildly divisive American issues like gun control and animal rights with Chris Bohjalian’s trademark emotional heft and spellbinding storytelling skill. For ten summers, the Seton family—all three generations—met at their country home in New England to spend a week together playing tennis, badminton, and golf, and savoring gin and tonics on the wraparound porch to celebrate the end of the season. In the eleventh summer, everything changed. A hunting rifle with a single cartridge left in the chamber wound up in exactly the wrong hands at exactly the wrong time, and led to a nightmarish accident that put to the test the values that unite the family—and the convictions that just may pull it apart. Look for Chris Bohjalian's new novel, The Lioness!
