Historical information concerning Brother Lee's travels and the content of his ministry in 1961 and 1962 can be found in the general preface that appears at the beginning of volume 1 in this set. The contents of this volume are divided into ten sections, as follows: 1. Fifteen messages given in June 1961. Messages 1 through 12 were given in Taipei, Taiwan, and Messages 13 through 15 were given in an unknown location. The fifteen messages were previously published in a book entitled The Exercise of the Spirit and the Building of God and are included in this volume under the same title. 2. Nine messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, on August 3 through 19, 1961. These messages were previously published in a book entitled How God Becomes Man's Enjoyment and are included in this volume under the same title. 3. Twenty-four messages given in Taipei, Taiwan, in the autumn of 1961. These messages were previously published only in Chinese in a book entitled The Visions of Ezekiel. Later, these messages were translated and combined with another set of twenty-four messages on Ezekiel given in Los Angeles, California, in the summer of 1971. The combined set of messages was published as the Life-study of Ezekiel. Neither the Life-study of Ezekiel nor the messages that were previously published in Chinese in the book entitled The Visions of Ezekiel are included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. 4. A set of entries made in Brother Lee's personal diary while he was in the Philippines and in New York City from October 29, 1961, through January 14, 1962. This issue of The Ministry contains a complete record of the twelve messages given during the 2005 winter training on the Crystallization-study of the Building of God, held December 26-31 in Anaheim, California. The crucial truth and burden embodied in these twelve messages may be summarized in four statements: (1) The building of God is the processed Triune God wrought into us so that under His continual dispensing we become His enlargement, expansion, and corporate expression. (2) The three tabernacles--the type of the tabernacle, the reality of the tabernacle, and the consummation of the tabernacle--reveal the goal of God's economy to have a corporate people to be His dwelling place for His expression and representation in eternity. (3) The intrinsic element of the work of the divine building is to minister the building and builded God into others for the building up of the Body of Christ. The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1981, volume 2, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee on November 2 through December 11, 1981. From December 23, 1981, through January 2, 1982, Brother Lee spoke twenty-eight messages that were published in Life-study of 1 Corinthians. The Life-study messages are not included in The Collected Works of Witness Lee. From the last week in October until the end of November, 1981, Brother Lee traveled to Seoul, South Korea; Hong Kong; Taipei, Taiwan; and Tokyo, Japan. He returned to Anaheim and ministered there until the end of the year. The contents of this volume are divided into two sections, as follows: 1. Twenty-eight messages given in Hong Kong and in Taipei, Taiwan, on November 2 through 24. These messages were translated from Chinese and are included in this volume under the title The History and Revelation of the Lord's Recovery. 2. A message given in Anaheim, California, on December 11. This message is included in this volume under the title The Center of Paul's Completing Ministry.
