Book Description
The decorrelation in the azimuthal angle between the most forward and the most backward jets (Mueller-Navelet jets) is measured in data collected in pp collisions with the CMS detector at the LHC at $\sqrt{s} =$ 7 TeV. The measurement is presented in the form of distributions of azimuthal-angle differences, $\Delta\phi$, between the Mueller-Navelet jets, the average cosines of $(\pi-\Delta\phi)$, $2(\pi-\Delta\phi)$, and $3(\pi-\Delta\phi)$, and ratios of these cosines. The jets are required to have transverse momenta, $p_{\mathrm{T}}$, in excess of 35 GeV and rapidities, $

Book Description
We present preliminary results from an analysis of the azimuthal decorrelation of dijet events as a function of their separation in pseudorapidity using the data collected during the 1994-1995 collider run. These results are compared to a parton shower Monte Carlo (HERWIG) and a theoretical prediction using BFKL resummation.

Book Description
We study the azimuthal decorrelation between jets with pseudorapidity separation up to six units. The data were accumulated using the DO detector during the 1994-1995 collider run of the Fermilab Tevatron at $\sqrt{s} = 1.8$ TeV. The data are compared to two parton shower Monte Carlos (HERWIG and PYTHIA) where the leading logarithmic terms are resummed to all orders in $\alpha\sb{s}$, and an analytical prediction using the leading logarithmic BFKL resummation. The final state jets as predicted by parton showering Monte Carlo describes the data well over the entire pseudorapidity range studied. The prediction based on the leading logarithmic BFKL resummation shows too much decorrelation as the rapidity interval increases.

We study the azimuthal decorrelation between jets with pseudorapidity separation up to six units. The data were accumulated using the D0 detector during the 1994-1995 collider run of the Fermilab Tevatron at (square root)s = 1.8 TeV. The data are compared to two parton shower Monte Carlos (HERWIG and PYTHIA) and an analytical prediction using the leading logarithmic BFKL resummation. The final state jets as predicted by the parton showering Monte Carlos describe the data over the entire pseudorapidity range studied. The prediction based on the leading logarithmic BFKL resummation shows more decorrelation than the data as the rapidity interval increases.

Book Description
This book has been designed to honor Lev Nikolaevich Lipatov, as a person and as one of the leading scientists in theoretical high energy physics. The book begins with three articles on Lev as a person, written endearingly by family members, a very close friend and Physics professor, Eugene Levin, and another outstanding scientist, Alfred Mueller. The book further collects 18 articles by several scientists who closely knew and/or collaborated with Lev.With an overarching range over various subfields, the book summarizes parts of Lev's achievements, presents new results which are based upon Lev's work, and paints an outlook on possible future developments. Lev's theoretical work has had an influential impact on phenomenology and experimental high energy physics; befittingly, this collection also includes several articles on these experimental aspects.

Book Description
This book reviews the latest experimental results on jet physics from proton-proton collisons at the LHC. Jets allow to determine the strong coupling constant over a wide range of energies up the highest ones possible so far, and to constrain the gluon parton distribution of the proton, both of which are important uncertainties on theory predictions in general and for the Higgs boson in particular.A novel approach in this book is to categorize the examined quantities according to the types of absolute, ratio, or shape measurements and to explain in detail the advantages and differences. Including numerous illustrations and tables the physics message and impact of each observable is clearly elaborated.
