This report describes seismic measurements taken at Northrop's inertial test facility, Norwood, Massachusetts under the joint auspices of AFCRL, NASA-ERC, and Northrop Corporation. The purpose of these measurements and subsequent analyses is to characterize the motion environment of the test facility in terms relevant to facility design and guidance-component performance tests. Observations of regional and facility environmental motions are described in terms of second-order statistics that serve as a basis for optimum prediction operators.
