Book Description
In the midst of climate change, responsible business practices and ecological modernization become essential tools for the promotion of sustainability. Due to the current level of demand for eco-friendly products and services, there is a need for green training and green human resource development to support green creativity and eco-innovation for sustainability. By incorporating green initiatives into human resource practices, organizations can maintain a positive impact on the environment. With a full understanding of sustainable business practices, positive impacts on the environmental management field become easier to produce. Human Resource Management Practices for Promoting Sustainability is a pivotal reference source that explores the incorporation of green initiatives into all aspects of human resource management practices in a variety of industries. The book delivers a discussion on green human capital, collective green intelligence, and competencies that are essential to cope with the challenges in Industry 4.0. It also provides a basis for green recruitment and selection processes as a way of promoting pro-environmental behavior in the labor markets. While highlighting a broad range of topics including employee relations, knowledge management, and recruitment, this book is ideally designed for executives, entrepreneurs, human resource managers, academicians, researchers, and students. The book is also suitable for conventional and corporate universities looking to meet sustainable development goals as well as policymakers as it provides a guideline in designing and implementing green creativity and eco-innovation based on a wide range of global issues confronting sustainability in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Book Description
This volume brings together several perspectives on the nature of work processes in enterprises and how information systems can best support these processes. The genesis of this idea was the shared interests of the authors in how enterprises improve and change. The shared belief is that change of enterprises relates to change of work processes and the success of such changes relates to how work processes are supported by information systems. Thus, the papers in this volume address both the nature of work and the design of information systems to support work. This volume is divided into two main sections: work and workflow, and information systems. There are three papers in each section. The disciplines represented across these six papers include management, engineering, computing, and architecture. These four disciplines pursue work, workflow, and information systems from quite different perspectives - management to represent business practices and processes, engineering to represent the physical flows in the system, computing to represent the information flows, and architecture to represent human flows within and among physical spaces. Enterprises, of course, include all these types of flows.

Book Description
The objective of the workshops associated with the ER2000 19th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling was to give participants the opportunity to present and discuss emerging, hot topics, thus adding new perspectives to conceptual modeling. This attracts communities which have begun to or which have already recognized the importance of conceptual modeling for solving their problems. To meet this objective, we selected the following two topics: { Conceptual Modeling Approaches for E-Business (eCOMO2000) aimed at studying the application of conceptual modeling techniques speci cally to e-business. { The World Wide Web and Conceptual Modeling (WCM2000) which analyzes how conceptual modeling can help address the challenges of Web devel- ment, management, and use. eCOMO2000 is the rst international workshop on Conceptual Modeling - proaches for E-Business. It was intended to work out and to discuss the actual state of research on conceptual modeling aspects and methods within the realm of the network economy, which is driven by both traditionally organized ent- prises and dynamic networks. Following the philosophy of the ER workshops, the selection of eCOMO contributions was done very carefully and restrictively (six accepted papers out of thirteen submissions) in order to guarantee an excellent workshop program. We are deeply indebted to the authors and to the members of the program committee, whose work resulted in this outstanding program.
