La maternité est une période de bouleversements dans la VIe d'une femme. Il s'agit là d'un évènement majeur. La grossesse, l'accouchement et les premiers instants de vie de l'enfant sont des moments que la mère va garder en souvenir. Leurs vécus peuvent être déterminants par la suite. La réalisation d'un projet de naissance, la participation aux séances de préparation à la naissance et à la parentalité durant la grossesse permettent entre autres aux femmes de s'impliquer dans leur grossesse et de se projeter dans l'avenir. Mais cela s'arrête bien souvent à l'accouchement. Le retour à domicile ne fait pas partie de leurs préoccupations. Pourtant, selon les recommandations de la Haute Autorité de Santé, l'information doit être diffusée déjà durant la grossesse. Ce n'est souvent qu'en suites de couches que la question de la sortie est abordée. Quelles sont les connaissances des femmes sur les différents relais existants après l'accouchement et comment est envisagé le retour précoce à domicile? Quelles améliorations pouvons-nous proposer quant à l'organisation des sorties précoces? Ce travail essaie de donner une réponse à ces questions au travers de l'étude de questionnaires distribués à des accouchées en service de maternité.

The transition to adulthood is a longer and more complex process than it was just a few decades ago, and a growing number of youth and young adults experience significant challenges in the establishment of an autonomous and independent lifestyle when compared to previous generations.
