On September 19, 1846, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared on the mountain of the French Alps called La Salette. She asked her people to pray daily, to attend Mass at least on Sunday, to do pennance & especially to honor the Lord's day of rest as well as the name of Jesus Christ.
