Book Description
This volume includes a collection of six papers which were presented in a symposium on 'Shelf Sandstone Deposits' sponsored by the Society of Economic Paleontologists at the annual meeting in Denver in 1980. This volume is divided into three sections. The sections are arranged in a sequence proceeding from youngest to oldest. To date, the maximum amount of data available for making interpretations on shelf - sand depositional systems is from Mesozoic rocks, and this bias is reflected in this volume.
