"Between April 1, 1981 and March 31, 1982 the Environmental Protection Service conducted bacteriological surveys of bivalve molluscan shellfish growing waters covering 215 km of coastline in the following areas: Howe Sound, Jervis Inlet, Nelson Island, Pender Harbour, Halfmoon Bay, Buccaneer Bay, Sechelt Inlet, Ucluelet Inlet, Meares Island and Browning Passage.
