The practical recommendations in this publication reflect the changes that have taken place in the iron and steel industry over the last 20 years or so, and changes to the ILO's approach to developing codes of practice. The Compendium is a comprehensive collection of available WHO and other UN guidance for improving health by creating healthier environments.
