Book Description
An inner city stripper befriends a high level executive in one of the world's largest companies and begins using a combination of intelligence, hustles she learned on the street and pornographic sex, to rise through the ranks, only to realize she is unhappy and there is still something missing. Along the way we meet perverted white men, backstabbers, haters, judgmental media, the unmotivated brother who isn't about anything, and a woman inspired for change. The author is quoted as saying, "I wanted to write about sex and it's impact in the marketplace. The subject matter is over the top for entertainment purposes, but very much based in reality. When sex is used as a weapon things can spin out of control, and I wanted to touch on that insanity that even takes place in corporate America. In insane times, what appeared to once be insane, is now just a day at the office. This is an entertaining read and you won't be disappointed in this book."

Book Description
"Required reading for every woman who longs to step into her power and live with pleasure and purpose." — Kris Carr, New York Times best-selling author Author, educator, and School of Womanly Arts founder Regena Thomashauer has been working with women for the past 25 years, and what began as just a few women in her living room has since grown into a global movement with thousands of graduates worldwide. In her New York Times bestseller Pussy: A Reclamation, she reveals what no one taught you about the source of your feminine power and how to use it. This power is the part of a woman that she has been taught to ignore, push down, and despise. Indeed, the word that most viscerally sums it up is "arguably the most powerful pejorative word in the English language." Like any expletive used effectively, the title of this book is meant to be a wake-up call. It is a reclamation, in a world that desperately requires the feminine. Readers learn the secret ingredient every woman is missing; how to crack the confidence code; why sex appeal is an inside job; what’s ahead on the next frontier of feminism—and how they can help make it happen; and much more. By turns earthy and erudite, passionately argued and laugh-out-loud funny, Pussy delivers the tools and practices a woman requires to do and be whatever she wants in this life. It’s a call for her to tune in, turn on, and not drop out—but live more richly, fully, and lusciously than she ever thought she could.

Book Description
Body hair, especially on women, provokes, disrupts, and, at times, offends. It is tangled up with culture itself—in art, families, workplaces, relationships, sex, the beauty industry, governments, and capitalism. From Chinese activists challenging the Communist Party, to students in Arizona rejecting their family and workplace ideas about grooming, to high-art feminist photographers boldly featuring hairy women, Fahs deftly explores the volatile and ever-changing landscape of women's body hair politics. She showcases an underground movement of artists, zine-makers, rebels, and activists who have used women's visible body hair as a declaration of freedom from patriarchal norms. Fahs presents body hair not just as a personal grooming choice but as a connection to broader cultural stories about women's reproductive rights, feminist battlegrounds about autonomy, neoliberal intrusions into beauty regimens, and even global tensions around women's place in society. Ultimately, Unshaved shows the collision between the mundane and the extraordinary, the everyday and the revolutionary.

Book Description
ussy power is an important concept in today's world. It encourages women to embrace their femininity and use it as a source of strength and resilience. Pussy power is a form of self-empowerment that helps women break through centuries of oppression and gain control over their lives. By embracing the power of their femininity, women can gain the confidence to make their dreams a reality and break the barriers set by society. This power can also be used to fight for social justice, challenge oppressive systems, and create a more equitable world. Pussy power is an important tool for women everywhere to reclaim their voices and empower themselves. Its importance cannot be understated. By embracing this powerful concept, women can create lasting change in the world. At the same time, it's no secret that men will do just about anything for pussy. This can be both a good and a bad thing. On one hand, some men might be willing to go out of their way to help a woman in need, or go above and beyond expectations to gain her favor. On the other hand, there are men who take advantage of women's vulnerability by using their sexuality as a bargaining chip. This mentality can be extremely detrimental, and should not be encouraged or condoned in any way. Pussy power is about recognizing that women are strong and capable individuals with real agency. Men should respect this power and treat it with the seriousness it deserves. Women's sexuality should be seen as a source of strength, not a means for manipulation. It is important to remember that when dealing with men, pussy power should always be respected and never taken advantage of. Ultimately, it is up to women themselves to decide how they want to use their femininity and sexuality. But it is important to remember that pussy power is a powerful tool, one that should be respected and used responsibly. It can be used to create positive change in the world and break through centuries of oppression. Women everywhere should embrace their femininity and use it as a source of strength and resilience. By doing this, they can challenge oppressive systems and gain the confidence to make their dreams a reality. Pussy power is here to stay, and it's time that men start recognizing its importance.

Book Description
Cheney (ethnic studies, California Polytechnic State U.) considers the political expression of rap artists within the historical tradition of black nationalism. Interweaving songs and interviews with hip-hop artists and activists including Chuck D of Public Enemy and Rosa Clemente, manager of dead prez, Cheney links late 20th- century hip-hop nationalists with their 19th-century spiritual forebears and challenges the perception of hip-hop as simply sexist or misogynistic.

Yet one prize has eluded her: The White House. So she sets out on the ultimate quest-to marry one of her BBBs to the man most likely to win the Presidency of the United States. But before she can marry him to one of the BBBs, she first must find him. Yet there is an even bigger problem: The woman most suited for the task of marrying him is the one least interested. Book Description
Hip-hop culture began in the early 1970s as the creative and activist expressions -- graffiti writing, dee-jaying, break dancing, and rap music -- of black and Latino youth in the depressed South Bronx, and the movement has since grown into a worldwide cultural phenomenon that permeates almost every aspect of society, from speech to dress. But although hip-hop has been assimilated and exploited in the mainstream, young black women who came of age during the hip-hop era are still fighting for equality. In this provocative study, Gwendolyn D. Pough explores the complex relationship between black women, hip-hop, and feminism. Examining a wide range of genres, including rap music, novels, spoken word poetry, hip-hop cinema, and hip-hop soul music, she traces the rhetoric of black women "bringing wreck." Pough demonstrates how influential women rappers such as Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, and Lil' Kim are building on the legacy of earlier generations of women -- from Sojourner Truth to sisters of the black power and civil rights movements -- to disrupt and break into the dominant patriarchal public sphere. She discusses the ways in which today's young black women struggle against the stereotypical language of the past ("castrating black mother," "mammy," "sapphire") and the present ("bitch," "ho," "chickenhead"), and shows how rap provides an avenue to tell their own life stories, to construct their identities, and to dismantle historical and contemporary negative representations of black womanhood. Pough also looks at the ongoing public dialogue between male and female rappers about love and relationships, explaining how the denigrating rhetoric used by men has been appropriated by black women rappers as a means to empowerment in their own lyrics. The author concludes with a discussion of the pedagogical implications of rap music as well as of third wave and black feminism. This fresh and thought-provoking perspective on the complexities of hip-hop urges young black women to harness the energy, vitality, and activist roots of hip-hop culture and rap music to claim a public voice for themselves and to "bring wreck" on sexism and misogyny in mainstream society.
