Book Description
She may be the team owner’s daughter, but she’s stolen my favorite cowboy hat and is wearing my jersey—now that makes her mine. When I’m enticed away from my Montana ranch to return to hockey with an offer I can’t refuse, I’m a fish out of water in the beach-town hockey team. I try to fit in with my teammates, until a woman falls into my lap. After she steals my hat, I have to find her and get it back. Despite my sweet-and-dirty-talking ways, she’s more of a test than lasting eight seconds on a wild bronc. There’s more to our first kiss though, like an instant spark of attraction between us I just can’t shake, but she runs off before I can get her name or phone number. It isn’t long until our paths cross again in a totally unexpected way. But will our instant attraction turn into more or will her father stand in the way of our happily ever after? Part of a 6-book collection of steamy hockey short romances.

Book Description
In interviews with fifteen contemporary writers of the American West, Gregory L. Morris demonstrates what these widely divergent talents have in common: they all redefine what it is to be a western writer. No longer enthralled (though sometimes inspired) by the literary traditions of openness, place, and rugged individualism, each of the writers has remained true to the demand for clarity, strength, and honesty, virtues sustained in their conversations. Morris talks with Ralph Beer, Mary Clearman Blew, Elizabeth Cook-Lynn, James Crumley, Ivan Doig, Gretel Ehrlich, Richard Ford, Molly Gloss, Ron Hansen, John Keeble, William Kittredge, David Long, Thomas McGuane, Amy Tan, and Douglas Unger. Their lives and fiction stretch from Montana to Texas, from ranches to universities, from sea level to mountain slopes.

Book Description
My husband Brian Larremore is the actual author of this book. He told me the stories and illustrated them and some of his artwork was done just for fun. I have typed and edited it for him. Brian and I live in Alpine, Texas and have a small ranch 35 miles south of Alpine, Texas. Brian has been a rancher all his life and a Police Officer for Sul Ross State University in Alpine for 21 years. He retired in February 2012 and intends to keep riding colts, day working and taking care of the ranch. He has said for the last 10 years that we have 40 years of work to do on the ranch, but only 20 years in which to do it. Prior to working as a Police Officer, he worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Brewster County and worked for various ranches throughout the years. I was also a Reserve Police Officer for several years for the City of Alpine and have worked at a local Drug Store for more than 30 years.
