This book is reflective and inspirational, intended to ask questions worth contemplating. Combining real world experience as a police officer and parallel stories in the Bible, we can discover that the challenges, questions and struggles we face today are no different than the issues mankind has faced for thousands of years. The goal is for you and me to understand both well enough that we can stand together with others in their struggles. As Christ became one of us, perhaps others will say that about us.

Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) has over the last decade made an increasing mark in several fields, notably health and medicine, education and social welfare. In recent years it has begun to make its mark in criminal justice.
