Pearls of Prophecy is a masterpiece with over 200 scriptural guidelines on how to prophesy correctly without failure. Prophecy, the final 'Magnet of the Gospel', reveals God's will for mankind. It is the final stop for answers, saves lives and property and is the final evidence of Holy Ghost Baptism. Prophecy is the ultimate sign of World Revival and confirms the only true God. God wants all the above to be achieved through His saints. God said in Joel 2:28, that in the last days, the believers would prophesy. Between the covers of this priceless pearl, you will get into the depths of the prophetic: from the reasons to prophesy --to how to receive the gift --to how to identify false prophecy-- to how to complete the journey. No doubt, the prophetic will come upon you as you delve into the realms of this powerful gem.

The Pearl of Greatest Price
Author: Terryl Givens
Publisher: Oxford University Press
ISBN: 0190603887
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 297
Book Description
The Pearl of Greatest Price narrates the history of Mormonism's fourth volume of scripture, canonized in 1880. The authors track its predecessors, describe its several components, and assess their theological significance within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Four principal sections are discussed, along with attendant controversies associated with each. The Book of Moses purports to be a Mosaic narrative missing from the biblical version of Genesis. Too little treated in the scholarship on Mormonism, these chapters, produced only months after the Book of Mormon was published, actually contain the theological nucleus of Latter-day Saint doctrines as well as a virtual template for the Restoration Joseph Smith was to effect. In The Pearl of Greatest Price, the author covers three principal parts that are the focus of many of the controversies engulfing Mormonism today. These parts are The Book of Abraham, The Book of Moses, and The Joseph Smith History. Most controversial of all is the Book of Abraham, a production that arose out of a group of papyri Smith acquired, along with four mummies, in 1835. Most of the papyri disappeared in the great Chicago Fire, but surviving fragments have been identified as Egyptian funerary documents. This has created one of the most serious challenges to Smith's prophetic claims the LDS church has faced. LDS scholars, however, have developed several frameworks for vindicating the inspiration of the resulting narrative and Smith's calling as a prophet. The author attempts to make sense of Smith's several, at times divergent, accounts of his First Vision, one of which is canonized as scripture. He also assesses the creedal nature of Smith's "Articles of Faith," in the context of his professed anti-creedalism. In sum, this study chronicles the volume's historical legacy and theological indispensability to the Latter-day Saint tradition, as well as the reasons for its resilience and future prospects in the face of daunting challenges.

The Prophecy of Magog and Israel

Pages : 0
Book Description
There is no cause to speculate about the coming apocalypse; it will arrive sooner or later. The Bible is quite clear on the subject. There will be an attempted invasion of Israel by a conglomerate of world powers, primarily Japhetic. That includes all of Europe, Russia, and the United States, along with Canada, Australia and more. The UN fits the bill as the leader and organizer of the invasion. Throughout my life I have heard Bible teachers say that the invading force of Magog is Russian, as seen in the names Meshech and Tubal, whom we were told were former spellings of Moscow and Tobolsk. It turns out that there is no historical basis for such an assertion. To the contrary, the invading force is composed of descendants of Magog, the grandson of Noah, assisted by Iran, Turkey, Libya, and Ethiopia. The invasion will fail because God is back in the business of preserving Israel for its coming King. Read what the Bible has to say about the invasion. "I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them" (Isaiah 42:8-9). "I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them" (Isaiah 48:3, 5). "Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth" (Isaiah 43:9).

Can't You Talk Louder, God
Author: Steve Shultz
Publisher: Destiny Image Publishers
ISBN: 0768499852
Category :
Languages : en
Pages : 385
Book Description
ARE YOU TALKING TO ME? How many times have you felt God trying to speak to you and yet you feel like you're hearing nothing? Who hasn't asked, "God, can't you talk louder? I just want to know what to do!" The reality is that all of God's sheep, in every denomination, already hear God's voice--every day! Steve Shultz uncovers the many Scriptures "hidden in plain sight," as he likes to say. These clear, yet often forgotten passages contain easy answers to the questions you've asked, or wish you could ask, about hearing God's voice. Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy. ...everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:1, 3 NIV). Learn how you can tune in to what God has to say personally to you! You don't even have to believe in prophecy. It's not the term "prophecy" that's the problem, but how it's defined. The wisdom in this book speaks on a "vulnerable" level through the author's exciting and dramatic real-life stories. The series of questions and answers by themselves made this book worth more than the cost.

Reclaiming Prophecy
Author: Darin Slack
Publisher: Certa Publishing
ISBN: 0996271643
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 163
Book Description
Is there a way to experience prophetic ministry in a God-honoring way—without all the mess and confusion? Prophetic ministry is the Holy Spirit's gift to the Church. Yet this gift has been abused, confused, and misused, making it difficult for today's Church leaders to embrace. With biblically sound delivery, Darin Slack offers a compelling perspective based on his thirty years of experience in prophetic ministry. He challenges indifference and complacency, while discouraging doctrinal disorder in the administration of the gift. Slack provides a powerful and much needed balance that will allow Church leaders to see the great potential for blessing in the prophetic while reducing the risk. Through Scripture, Slack offers leaders, from all doctrinal backgrounds, a faith-building process for realizing prophecy that leads to Church edification. (1 Cor. 14:3) This book is a must-have for every pastor or Church leader who desires to scripturally understand and implement prophetic ministry.
