Book Description
"Transported in 1790 with the hellish Second Fleet, the worst of all the convict shipments to Australia, Paul Bushell triumphed and created his own piece of paradise on earth. Vigorous, independent, generous-spirited, community-minded, principled and hard-working, he championed the rights of others and prospered himself. His ecumenical views and his respect for women's rights were ahead of his time. He died in 1853 during the gold rush era, his life story encapsulating the first major phase of the modern history of Australia."--Back cover.

Book Description
Pictorial History Hawkesbury by Michelle Nichols is a new book in the famous series of pictorial histories which cover the suburbs of Sydney. The Hawkesbury district in Sydney¿s west was once home to many Australians and in the early 19th century had the second highest population in the colony. In the first few decades of the 1800s the Hawkesbury region was one of the major settlements alongside Sydney and Parramatta. Indeed many Australians can trace their origins (both convict and free) to this district. In the Hawkesbury history suburbs extending from Bilpin, Colo, Ebenezer, Kurrajong, Mount Tomah, Richmond, Windsor and Wiseman¿s Ferry are represented in a wide range of black and white photographs. The book includes the historic areas of Cattai, Riverstone, Londonderry and Yarramundi. With over 190 rare and interesting photographs it is a fascinating overview of the history of the area from Aboriginal to modern times.

Book Description
The explosive truth about America’s Revolution–a bloody civil war that was won largely in the South–that modern liberals have kept buried until now. In 1780, the darkest hour of the American Revolution, the British went down to the South and overplayed their hand. By burning the bibles of backwoodsmen and threatening their honor, the British ignited a firestorm. Ordinary folk from throughout the Southern colonies spontaneously banded together and rode for hundreds of miles to King’s Mountain in South Carolina to attack and destroy the British forces in the most spectacular, unusual and decisive battle of the war. Never heard of the massacre that saved the American Revolution? No idea that liberty was actually won in the South? Red state values of God, guns and guts are being dismantled by leftists airbrushing our past in order to “transform” our future. Grand Theft History features
