Book Description
The Outcast System occurs in Africa and India. In Nigeria, outcasts are called Osu. As freeborn, myself, I was brought up to see the outcast as lower class humans. Our culture made it an abomination to have any relationships with them. I was forbidden from marrying from their stock. They could not hold some traditional titles and were never appointed Traditional Rulers. These fell apart when I saw blood donation by an outcast. The thoughts as to who would use the blood he donated bordered me. After some reflections and applying Scientific, Religious and Sociological knowledge, I concluded that the Outcast System is baseless, instituted in ignorance and being perpetuated in ignorance. To illustrate, I told the pitiable story of what would happen if a freeborn tries to marry an outcast. This book will make the readers worldwide abandon the System without coercion or force of law.

Book Description
These poems come from my deepest and darkest feelings during a difficult time in my life. I was inspired to publish them after receiving support from all those who read them. Outcast's Lament And Other Poems reflect the trials and experiences I faced while growing up. I hope they capture the deepest and the darkest. These are the thoughts most of us feel, but may not vocalize. My poems mostly come as stream of thought, and in truth, they are never finished. First-time author Ahmed Abdel-Rahim of Alexandria, Egypt, is a dentist. He writes music lyrics and is fascinated with history, romantic poetry and fantasy. His next project is writing a fantasy novel. Publisher's Website: http: //sbpra.com/AhmedAbdelRahim

Book Description
"Death is inevitably the end of a journey. Death also allows the journey to go back to the beginning." In this bold novel, one of Taiwan's most celebrated authors reimagines the lives of a legendary couple: Sun Yat-sen, known as the "Father of the Chinese Revolution," and his wife, Song Qingling. Born in 1866, Sun Yat-sen grew up an admirer of the rebels who tried to overthrow the ruling Manchu dynasty. He dreamed of strengthening China from within, but after a failed attempt at leading an insurrection in 1895, Sun was exiled to Japan. Only in 1916, after the dynasty fell and the new Chinese Republic was established, did he return to his country and assume the role of provisional president. While in Japan, Sun met and married the beautiful Song Qingling. Twenty-six years her husband's junior, Song came from a wealthy, influential Chinese family (her sister married Chiang Kai-shek) and had received a college education in Macon, Georgia. Their tumultuous and politically charged relationship fuels this riveting novel. Weaving together three distinct voices--Sun's, Song's, and a young woman rumored to be the daughter of Song's illicit lover--Ping Lu's narrative experiments with invented memories and historical fact to explore the couple's many failings and desires. Touching on Sun Yat-sen's tormented political life and Song Qingling's rumored affairs and isolation after her husband's death, the novel follows the story all the way to 1981, recounting political upheavals Sun himself could never have imagined.
