The Old quarto work of Glass is found in some libraries; but, excepting this, there is no English work specifi cally upon these Islands, which constitute a pro vince of Spain. Short, and, in many respects, unsatisfactory, as the Author's sojourn in Algiers was, he thinks the clerical reader may find some matters of interest in 'his remarks upon that country, Which is indeed the ancient site' of those Churches which, at the end of the fourth and the beginning of the fifth century were amongst the most dis tinguished in Christendom.
