Book Description
The writer and star of The State, Wet Hot American Summer, The Baxter, and Michael & Michael Have Issues brings readers his uniquely absurd humor in his hilarious first book. I was at my wit's end. I'd had enough of this job, this life, and my relationship had broken up. Should I eat chocolate, or go to India, or fall in love? Then I had a revelation: Why not do all three, in that order? And so it was that I embarked on a journey that was segmented into three parts and was then made into a major motion picture. Later, I woke up on an airplane with a hole in my face and a really bad hangover. I was ushered brusquely off the plane by my parents who took me to a rehab where I tested positive for coke, classic coke, special k (the drug), Special K (the cereal), mushrooms, pepperoni, and Restless Leg Syndrome. It was there that I first began painting with my feet. But rewind...the year was 1914. I was just a young German soldier serving in the trenches while simultaneously trying to destroy an evil ring with some help from an elf, a troll, and a giant sorcerer, all while cooking every recipe out of a Julia Child cookbook. What I'm trying to say is that there was a secret code hidden in a painting and I was looking for it with this girl who had a tattoo of a dragon! Let me clarify, it was the 1930s and a bunch of us were migrating out of Oklahoma, and I was this teenage wizard/CIA operative, okay? And, um then I floated off into the meta-verse as a ball of invisible energy that had no outer edge... Ugh, okay. None of this is true. I'm just kind of a normal guy from New Jersey who moved to New York, got into comedy, wrote this book about trying to write this book, and then moved to Alaska, became the mayor of a small town, spent $30,000 on underwear, and now I'm going to rule the world!!!

Book Description
Sadie Franklin is all about independence, but when one of her popular parties gets too crazy, her usually uninvolved dad sends her across the country to spend the summer with relatives. Living in small-town Pecan Creek, Georgia, is culture shock for a girl from Seattle, and it doesnt help that Sadies aunt and uncle are total church people. Sunday school? No, thanks. Add a houseful of little cousins, an accidental friendship with the preachers daughter of all people, and the attention of a guy who might actually understand her murky past, and its enough to cue an identity crisis. When life-altering news rocks Sadies world and reveals messy family secrets, shes forced to face the God shes avoided since her moms death eight years ago. Sadie is surrounded by people who say God loves her and has great plans for her life, but if God is really good, why does He let Sadies life unravel? Could there really be a purpose in all of this?

Book Description
In this Encouragement story, a man learns that his son has been born with hemophilia and autism. The stress of the situation catapults the father into single parenthood and he is forced to endure a difficult court battle for sole custody of his disabled son. Through diligence and determination, he develops methods to further help his troubled child. More importantly, he stumbles upon what he believes is his personal calling in life and his purpose for living. With the realization that he has discovered unique methods and tools to cope with parenting difficulties, the man's focus is now fulfilling his dream of establishing himself as a writer of children's literature. While very "personal," my story is written in such a manner as to impart a lesson and to aid parents of (Autistic) physically/mentally/emotionally challenged children by helping them to cope with the situations they face. I am not necessarily saying that my way is the way, but rather I am saying, "Here are examples that you can use to help to 'imagine' coping mechanisms that will work specifically for your Book Review Quotes: Caroline Ganz (parent) says "You have uncovered the treasure of life - thanks for persevering and revealing this truth to others." Andree Perreault (ECE) says "This book is a true inspiring story of courage, unconditional love and determination against all odds." Dr. Bob Rich, M. Sc., Ph.D., (counseling Psychologist multiple award winning author) says, "Many parents despair, feel resentful at fate, and buckle under the strain. Well all of us are likely to do so from time to time. I am sure Chris has. However, he is a shinning example of how to turn adversity into an opportunity for personal growth, giving and love. Book Description
Echoes of Color By Paulette After tragedy hits her family, teenage Albany flees her home in Arkansas and sets off to make a new life for herself. Her reputation grows quickly as a strong, spirited woman who won’t back down from a fight and who knows how to handle a gun. Echoes of Color, set in the post-Civil War United States, is a gripping epic of one woman’s ambition to build a strong, supportive environment for the family and friends around her. In both her courtship and marriage to Clayton Drew (a Frenchman known as both a skillful gunman and ladies’ man) and her raising of seven children, Albany continually stands up for what she believes is right, refusing to give in to anyone, including her husband. Echoes of Color will leave you crying, laughing, and gasping in surprise — and sometimes all on the same page.
