What people are saying about Mobsters, Gangs, Crooks, and Other Creeps: Vol. 4 BRUNO DOES IT AGAIN!! By RJ Parker "Best Selling Author" Just when you think you've read everything there is about NYC mobsters and gangs, Bruno comes up with more. Mobsters, Gangs, Crooks and Other Creeps-Volume 4 is another must have for the true crime collector. Bruno is the real deal when it comes to historical crime in the big apple. A great way to spend 99 cents!! By JldB "Mobsters, Gangs, Crooks and Other Creeps-Volume 4" is a great way to spend 99 cents. Bruno makes some great points about the Feds going after the decimated Italian Mob in America, when they should be concentrating on terrorists. Also, I didn't realize there were so many crooked cops in New York City, but I know that tradition goes all the way back to the late 1800's. All in all this book is a fun read. But maybe not so much, if you are a NY City cop.

What people are saying about Mobsters, Gangs, Crooks, and Other Creeps: Vol. 3AS GOOD AS A HISTORY BOOK! – RJ Parker “Best Selling Author”Mobsters, Gangs, Crooks, and Other Creeps - Volume 3 by Joe Bruno is a masterpiece of New York City's history of crimes and criminals, and even disasters. Many of these people were the dregs of society who Bruno dug up from the sewers of NYC and placed in a book. This is the second book I've read by the author and have added him to my favourites. I like his style and the substance of his material. Good as a history book. Highly recommended.Best of the Best! – lcook0825

Another great one! – lcook0825Another great book by Joe Bruno on the Mafia in the United States. Murder Inc. was an unbelievable group of men who got away with their crimes for some time. It is amazing to see how far police investigations have come since that time. I can't wait to start the next book by Mr Bruno.

Make no mistake, there are no good guys here; no innocent victims. The fact is Bald Jack Rose, a well-known New York City criminal, framed crooked New York City police lieutenant - Charles Becker - for the killing of stool pigeon Herman Rosenthal. People in the underworld cheered the death of Rosenthal; he was disliked that much. But that doesn't negate the fact that the wrong man sat in Sing Sing's electric chair for ordering Rosenthal's murder, while the man who framed Becker - and orchestrated the murder of Rosenthal himself - walked away a free man. "The Wrong Man" explains how this all transpired.Scroll to the top of this page and GRAB your copy now!

Book Description
This multivolume resource is the most extensive reference of its kind, offering a comprehensive summary of the misdeeds, perpetrators, and victims involved in the most memorable crime events in American history. This unique reference features the most famous crimes and trials in the United States since colonial times. Three comprehensive volumes focus on the most notorious and historically significant crimes that have influenced America's justice system, including the life and wrongdoing of Lizzie Borden, the bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, the killing spree and execution of Ted Bundy, and the Columbine High School shootings. Organized by case, the work includes a chronology of major unlawful deeds, fascinating primary source documents, dozens of sidebars with case trivia and little-known facts, and an overview of crimes that have shaped criminal justice in the United States over several centuries. Each of the 500 entries provides information about the crime, the perpetrators, and those affected by the misconduct, along with a short bibliography to extend learning opportunities. The set addresses a breadth of famous trials across American history, including the Salem witch trials, the conviction of Sacco and Vanzetti, and the prosecution of O. J. Simpson.
